Callie is a sweet girl who takes a moment to warm up to new people but then just wants to lay in bed with you and chill out. She would be great as an only pet and would flourish in an adult household.

Meet Aspen Aspen has done an incredible job raising her four beautiful kittens, Oakley, Fern, Juniper, and Clover, and now it's her turn to find a loving forever home. This devoted mama is the perfect blend of gentle, loving, and resilient. After spending her days caring for her babies, Aspen is ready to enjoy the comforts of being someone's cherished companion. She has a sweet, calm nature and loves a cozy spot to relax, gentle pets, and quiet moments with her people. Aspen's Perfect Home A loving family ready to spoil her after months of motherhood A calm environment where she can relax and thrive A home that appreciates a gentle, affectionate companion Favorite Activities: Lounging in sunny windows, Receiving chin scratches and pets, Watching the world go by, and Enjoying the peace and quiet she has earned Born: July 16, 2024 Aspen and her babies were living outside and came to Meowtown before their finder moved so that they could have a better life and find forever homes. At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

From her foster mom, Bercem: Surya is a sweet, confident girl who loves people, playing with her toys, and making biscuits. Lots and lots of biscuits! She's practically a professional biscuit maker. She makes them on my cheeks, on my stomach, and even in the air! It's her signature move, and one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Surya is also a playful little girl who sometimes brings me toys so we can play together. I'll toss one, and she'll catch it! She loves carrying her toys around, chasing them, and occasionally launching herself into the air after them. After her morning burst of energy, she's usually ready for a nice long nap. She's affectionate and loves being petted, but she also appreciates her independence. She prefers to come to me for attention, often settling beside me or asking for pets and kisses. She's happiest when she can choose when it's time to cuddle. **Surya is bonded with her sister, Alaska, and they must be adopted together.** The two girls are very close and even call out to each other with sweet little meows when they can't find one another. Surya and Alaska were born outside near my home, where I provided food, water, and shelter for their family. After they disappeared for a while, Alaska returned alone, and I brought her inside. About a week later, Surya showed up too, and the sisters were reunited! Surya gets along well with other cats and dogs, although we haven't yet seen how she does with children. She and Alaska would love a home where they have room to play, comfortable places to nap, and people who enjoy affectionate cats with a little independence. If you're looking for two sweet sisters who will keep you entertained with their playful antics and fill your home with love, Surya and Alaska would be a wonderful pair! Meet Bernie, an adorable young calico who was rescued from the streets and is now looking for a loving home. Bernie is good with other cats and she enjoys being around people. She would do best in a calm home where she can relax and enjoy her stretch sessions and window watching moments in peace. If you can provide her with an easy going, happy environment, please reach out to us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com.

Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. As she is not yet confident around people, she would do best in a calm home with experienced cat owners. For more information, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com

Weiss (Wiss) is a shy but loving cat. She is the only cat I have every had that is so affectionate she actually wants you to kiss her on the head. She loves her cat tree but will lay on the bed with me especially when the other cats are playing outside the room. She is kind of a wallflower always curious about all the other cats. She has always been an indoor cat and I don't think she would do that good outside. She may shy away in a corner if she is afraid of the other cats. However in right environment she wouldn't have any problems.

Spot is a very passionate and adventurous cat. He has always been an indoor cat but may do alright outdoors, He is really beautiful when you have food or anything that is interesting to him. You will notice his eyes open really large making him even more adorable. He has a mate that he has always been with, but lately has become independant.

Very laid back cat. Likes to hang out alone but is O.K. with other cats and dogs. He likes indoors or outdoors. Prefers indoors but also likes to play outside. He is a young adult and is fixed. He is a little shy especially around other cats but warms up quickly.
