At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

From her foster mom, Bercem: Surya is a sweet, confident girl who loves people, playing with her toys, and making biscuits. Lots and lots of biscuits! She's practically a professional biscuit maker. She makes them on my cheeks, on my stomach, and even in the air! It's her signature move, and one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Surya is also a playful little girl who sometimes brings me toys so we can play together. I'll toss one, and she'll catch it! She loves carrying her toys around, chasing them, and occasionally launching herself into the air after them. After her morning burst of energy, she's usually ready for a nice long nap. She's affectionate and loves being petted, but she also appreciates her independence. She prefers to come to me for attention, often settling beside me or asking for pets and kisses. She's happiest when she can choose when it's time to cuddle. **Surya is bonded with her sister, Alaska, and they must be adopted together.** The two girls are very close and even call out to each other with sweet little meows when they can't find one another. Surya and Alaska were born outside near my home, where I provided food, water, and shelter for their family. After they disappeared for a while, Alaska returned alone, and I brought her inside. About a week later, Surya showed up too, and the sisters were reunited! Surya gets along well with other cats and dogs, although we haven't yet seen how she does with children. She and Alaska would love a home where they have room to play, comfortable places to nap, and people who enjoy affectionate cats with a little independence. If you're looking for two sweet sisters who will keep you entertained with their playful antics and fill your home with love, Surya and Alaska would be a wonderful pair! Fun and very sweet loving kittens. And give them the love they deserve.

Tito is a 6 month old kitten! He loves dogs and people, he is incredibly social and loves to cuddle. Depending on his mood, he loves to lay in ur lap and fall asleep to you sing a lullaby lol. I am hoping for him to be in a house that has other animals, and someone who can give him all the love he deserves. I will rehome him with his toys, cat tree, and food :)

I took in Mochi and 6 of her kittens for a rescue group in July of 2024 with the intention of keeping just Mochi and sending all of her kittens to the rescue. Her kittens ended up having some disabilities, so I kept the most severe one and a littermate. Mochi really dislikes her kittens now and would be much happier as an only cat. She does enjoy the outdoors but would do well with an indoor only home and a catio or other safe way to enjoy the outside. She is happy to be carried around and is good with older children providing they don't tease her. She has not been around toddlers or young children but would likely be fine with supervision. Mochi is not much of a lap cat, but does like to cuddle on the bed and likes to lie on tables and high perches. She loves to weave around your ankles. Good with dogs. She does tend to jump on counters and high cabinets. She likes to scratch her scratching posts and is a quiet cat - especially at night. No declawing, please.

This sweet and loving neutered male cat showed up a few months ago. He really would like to be able to come inside, but I have multiple cats, some of which are not that friendly to newcomers. I would love for him to find a wonderful, mostly indoor or indoor/outdoor home. He is a huge, tall cat with a super cool face. Bert is a total lap cat and loves to be held. I have not brought him inside other than in my garage during inclement weather due to the fact that I'm fostering other cats right now and out of spare rooms.
