Story
Mavis is a sweet girl! She starts off a little shy but quickly comes around to a soft touch! She especially opens up with toys, she loves to play! She enjoys snuggling with other kitties and in little hidey holes! She is a gem and would love to join a family of her own!   We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! Story
Hi, I’m Hope – Your Chatty, Cuddle-Loving Best Friend! Are you looking for a companion who will adore you unconditionally, keep you company all day, and chat with you about everything? Well, look no further—I’m Hope, and I’d love to be your new best friend! Unlike most cats, I don’t play hard to get. I’m a lap cat through and through. I’ll sit next to you (or on you!) for hours, happily purring just because I’m near you. I don’t even need pets to be content—your presence is enough to make me happy. What Makes Me Special? • I’m a social butterfly. If you have guests, I’ll introduce myself right away—I don’t believe in being shy! • I love to talk. Every morning, I like to have a ten-minute conversation with my person. I’ll meow and tell you all about my dreams, my plans for the day, and remind you that I’m the most important thing in your life. I also greet you at the door every evening with an enthusiastic chat. • I love compliments. Some cats love treats, but I love praise. If you tell me “good girl,” I’ll keep doing whatever made you happy—over and over again! Fun Facts About Me! • I won’t eat unless you stand next to me. Eating is a social event, and I prefer company while I dine! • I drool when I’m happy. Scratch my head just right, and you might notice a little drool—it’s just my way of saying “I love you!” • I’m obsessed with Cat TV. Put on a YouTube video of birds or fish, and I’ll sit mesmerized, watching my “shows.” It’s my version of binge-watching! Who I’m Looking For I need someone who has a lot of love and attention to give. I don’t do well being alone for long periods, so I’d be happiest with a retired or work-from-home human who wants a constant companion. I also prefer to be the only pet—I like being the star of the show! A quiet home without young kids would be ideal, so I can get all the attention I deserve. Unfortunately, my current person has developed a serious allergy, so they’re helping me find my perfect new home. If you’re looking for a cat who will love you with her whole heart, keep you company all day, and make sure you’re never lonely, I’m your girl! If you think we’re a match, let’s meet! Want a purr machine to ride on your shoulder?! Hope's your girl! She's a gentle, friendly girl who turned 2 April, 2024. She enjoys affection and is happy to be held. She's healthy, with silky fur. We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! Story
Chestnut is warm, friendly and cuddly. She was found on a street in Philadelphia as a kitten. She has lived in Philadelphia in an apartment. Pennsylvania in a house where she went in and out. In Atlanta in an aparment. In Georgia in a home where she lived outside and Winchester in a home where she went in and out. She is approximately 10 years old. I have had her for four of those years. She has lived with three dogs and two other cats with no issues. Chestnut was diagnosed with Feline Hyperesthesia. She is in nerve pain constantly. She requires meds twice a day. She is very good about taking these meds. I either empty two capsules into a small amount of tuna or on the days where she doesn't want to eat I give it to her orally. Without the meds she is in a great deal of pain. The medicine is cost effective. It cost around 16.00 a month for the oral and capsules. She was just at the vet on Friday April 3 for a checkup and rabies shot. She is a lovely cat.

Story
Personality: Luna is a very sweet and cuddly cat. She has always been an indoor cat and is very relaxed and doesn't play all that much. She loves to be pet, cuddled, and sit on your lap. She loves to be in the same room as you and will paw at you if she wants love. Breed: She is a calico cat that may have a bit of munchkin in her because her legs aren't very tall. Health: Luna is 11 years old. She had 1 litter of kittens with her first owner then got spayed. We have not taken her to the vet regularly but she has always been a healthy cat. She is not declawed. Rehome Reason: We have had her since she was 3 years old but we now have a two year old son that wants to play with her but she does not want to play and will run a hide all day. I feel she could find more love and attention that we cannot provide at this time in our lives at another home. *Open to offers for adoption fee
