Story
Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact (Current Owner of Dog):  Andrew Devereaux; 702-379-8118; Andrew.devereaux8@gmail.com MEET BLANCHE!! Blanche is a fast, spunky, and affectionate dog with a big personality who loves being close to her people, whether that means following you around the house, playing fetch, or curling up for a long nap. She is leash trained, crate trained, potty trained, and completed a four-week board-and-train program focused on basic obedience. Blanche is playful and goofy, enjoying running, zoomies, neighborhood walks, and stuffed toys, but she can also be skittish and sensitive to loud noises and having her personal space invaded. She wants to please and often shows this by keeping her eyes on her person at all times. Blanche must be fed separately due to a long-standing history of food aggression, does not get along with cats, and is unsure with other dogs, though she previously lived well with a large dog and may acclimate with proper introductions. She does not do well with young children and has shown reactive behaviors when overwhelmed, so she requires a child-free, adult-only home with someone experienced in training and managing dogs who need clear boundaries. In the right environment, Blanche is a loyal, loving companion who will thrive with structure, understanding, and continued positive guidance. If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com  PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Story
Stitch is a wonderful dog! We took him in when he found his time up at a small rural shelter and wanted to help him so he could find a wonderful home (he deserves it!) what we were told is his owner was getting married and her fiancé doesn’t like dogs!!! She dumped her dogs and the other one was adopted. Stitch was adopted and a few weeks later picked up as a stray. He is an amazing dog, happy go lucky, good with other dogs, he is on the larger size but not too big. He would make a great family dog maybe with kids a little older because of his size. He is good on a leash but strong, we will work on that. This boy deserves a stable loving home and despite all he has been through, he remains kind, gentle, and happy. We do not do DNA due to lack of funds so his breed is a mystery.

Story
Meet Lucky – A Sweet Young Girl Looking for Her Forever Home Hello! My name is Lucky, and even though life hasn't always gone according to plan, I'm hoping my luck is about to change. Maybe that change starts with you! I'm about 1 year old, and I'm a happy, healthy girl who is already vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. That means I'm ready to pack my bags and move right into my forever home. Nobody knows exactly how my story began. I was picked up as a stray by animal control in Yuma, and sadly, no one ever came looking for me. While my past remains a mystery, I'm focusing on my future—and I'm hoping it's with a family who will love me, protect me, and give me the happy ending I've been dreaming about. Right now, I'm staying at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, where everyone has been very kind to me. When I first arrived, I was a little shy and scared. Everything was new, and I wasn't quite sure who I could trust. But with some patience, love, and encouragement, I've started to come out of my shell. One thing that really helped me was meeting a special dog friend here. You could even call him my boyfriend! He's shown me that people can be kind and that life doesn't have to be scary. We get along wonderfully, and thanks to his confidence and friendship, I've become much more comfortable and relaxed. Now I enjoy attention, making new friends, and exploring the world around me. The people here think I might be an Anatolian Shepherd mix. If you're not familiar with Anatolian Shepherds, they're known for being intelligent, loyal, protective, and devoted to their families. Originally bred to guard livestock, Anatolians are independent thinkers with a calm and steady nature. They form strong bonds with their people and are known for watching over those they love. While I seem to have many of those wonderful traits, I'm actually a bit smaller than a purebred Anatolian Shepherd, making me a more manageable size for many families. Like many young dogs, I still have plenty of energy and curiosity. At only a year old, I have my whole life ahead of me. I'd love a family that will continue helping me build confidence, teach me new things, and include me in their daily adventures. Whether we're going for walks, relaxing in the backyard, or spending quiet evenings together, I'll be happiest simply being part of a family. Because I've had a rough start, I may need a little patience while I adjust to a new environment. But if you give me time, I promise I'll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and lots of love. Every day I become more confident, and everyone here believes I have the potential to become an amazing family dog. I don't think my forever home needs to be perfect. It just needs to be filled with kindness, understanding, and people who will never give up on me. In return, I'll give you my heart. Could you be the family I've been waiting for? I'd love the chance to meet you and show you just how special I am. If you're interested in learning more about me or scheduling a visit, please email my friends at Central Arizona Animal Rescue at: mike@caaronline.org Set up an appointment and come meet me. I may be the missing piece your family has been looking for. Love, Lucky     PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis.
