Meet Thor, our gentle giant with an even bigger heart. Thor is a handsome 3–4-year-old Cane Corso weighing in at 104 pounds. While his size may be impressive, his personality is truly sweet, happy, and affectionate. Thor knows his basic commands, including sit, shake, and down. He loves attention and enjoys playing fetch, splashing in the kiddie pool, and going for walks. He does pull a bit at the start of walks, so he will need a confident and strong handler who can help guide him as he settles in. Thor is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and appears to be potty trained. He likes small dogs and does well with them, though a meet and greet is still required to ensure a good fit. His behavior with cats is currently unknown. Due to his size, Thor would do best in a home with children ages 6 and up. Blanche is a fast, spunky, and affectionate dog with a big personality who loves being close to her people, whether that means following you around the house, playing fetch, or curling up for a long nap. She is leash trained, crate trained, potty trained, and completed a four-week board-and-train program focused on basic obedience. Blanche is playful and goofy, enjoying running, zoomies, neighborhood walks, and stuffed toys, but she can also be skittish and sensitive to loud noises and having her personal space invaded. She wants to please and often shows this by keeping her eyes on her person at all times. Blanche must be fed separately due to a long-standing history of food aggression, does not get along with cats, and is unsure with other dogs, though she previously lived well with a large dog and may acclimate with proper introductions. She does not do well with young children and has shown reactive behaviors when overwhelmed, so she requires a child-free, adult-only home with someone experienced in training and managing dogs who need clear boundaries. We have a 2-year-old Cane Corso/English Bulldog mix that we need to surrender. Fiona was surrendered to the Maricopa County shelter. She was undernourished and unsocialized. We have been able to socialize her to our Boxer, but she is still not very good with other dogs. Fiona is a lovable dog that is best suited as an only dog with an active family. She loves to run and play. She is a lap dog that loves to be with her humans. Fiona walks very well on a leash. She is high energy, easily trained, and requires allot of stimulation. Her favorite game is rope tugging. Fiona is wonderful with children. She is gentle and loves to play with our grandchildren. Fiona shots are all up to date, she is chipped, and spayed. He thrives with regular exercise and mental enrichment and would do best in a home that enjoys staying active with their dog. Samson has mild leash reactivity around other dogs, which improves with clear guidance and consistent handling. He can be a bit dominant with other male dogs, so those interactions are best managed, but he has a history of getting along well with other dogs and would benefit from continued training and structure. Due to a recent change in our family, we are seeking a home that can give Samson the time, care, and attention he deserves. He currently has an ear infection that will need veterinary care, and we want to be transparent so his future family can help him feel his best. Samson would make a wonderful companion for someone ready to invest time, love, and patience into.
