Story

Hey everyone, my name is Abe, what is yours? I am a super sweet and loving big boy who sometimes doesn't know his own size! I love to be around people and get all the attention, I feel like I am a puppy again! I get so excited when I see my shelter people, and love to grab onto the leash and play tug-of-war with it! I am just so excited and want to play! I love playing with ropes and other fun toys, and sometimes I like to hoard my favorite toys! I love being pet all over, and often roll over on my back so you can pet my belly too! The only places I am not sure of are my paws and my butt, but everywhere else is just the best! I absolutely love treats too, and know how to "sit" for them too! I can be a bit mouthy when it comes to food, I am not pushy, but sometimes I'll get my mouth over your hand too when trying to get the treat, so I could use some training when it comes to how to properly take treats! Because I love getting attention so much, I sometimes do not listen to my handler when someone comes up and wants to love on me, I just really really love it! I will need your help teaching me basic manners and to be the best dog I can be. A moderately active home would be great for me, along with older children, just so I don't knock any little ones over when I am running around getting love! If you have any other dogs at home we will need to meet to make sure we are a good fit, sometimes when I have too much energy I can be a bit much for other dogs, but I am just so eager to have fun!
