Story
Greetings all. My name is Brutis and below is somw info about me:Breed: Cane Corso/Pitbull MixAge: 2-1/2 yrsGender: MaleWeight: 54 lbsHeight: 15”Country of origin: US, New MexicoHighlights: Sweet, loving, charming, shy No brag, here comes a boy who is as sweet and charming as they come, so I am told.My first owner was unable to keep me and so found what she "thought" was a great home for me. Unfortunately, I ended up at the shelter after I escaped the yard of my new home. Probably trying to look for my original person. Sadly, my new owner did not even make an effort to find me or bring me home. My first owner panicked seeing my post and feared I would be euthanized and said she would come get me, but she never did. Here is where a rescue stepped up to save me... shortly before that fateful day I was to be killed.I was put into boarding and have charmed the pants off the staff and volunteers alike ever since.Being very sweet, and a little on the shy side at first, I build trust over time. The tech who cares for me at the shelter had been working with him since I entered the shelter. I like and trust her. She advises no quick movements around me, as I will become very scared and start to tremble. They think I may have been hit in one of my prior homes. Sad, isn't it?The rescue transporter said I did well in the car and was great as they got me settled in at boarding. By moving slowly and ensuring that I is not surprised by what people are doing, the rescue staff have been able to build the same kind of trust with me. So, that will be the key to my trust with you too. Give me time to relax and learn you are safe by methodical movement and letting me know what is going on.I'd love it if we could do happy walking times together, super snuggles, and just become total buds. I am a kind soul who will make a fantastic addition to my new family. Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknownKids: unknown Fears: quick movementsTraining:Leash skills: some. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: unknown, as I am living at a boarding facility. Please help me learn. Health notes:I have been vaccinated. I will be neutered and microchipped prior to arrival. My adoption fee is $800 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to the Canadian border. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2638998##

Story
Hi lovely Canadians. My name is DEDI and here is a little info about me:Breed: Labrador Retriever/Cane Corso mixAge: 4 years (almost 5)Gender: femaleWeight: 38 kg/84lbsCountry of origin: Republic of GeorgiaHighlights: eager to please/learn, easy to train, intelligent, curious, faitful, affectionate, entertaining A nurturing "super-mom" with a heart of gold, ready to shower a big, busy family with endless cuddles. A critical message: Due to instability for rescue teams, I have an urgent need to reach a safe, forever home as soon as possible. Please do not delay my rescue mission!  Abandoned by an owner who couldn't sell my pups, I spent months surviving a cruel neighborhood where I faced electric shocks and threats. Despite the hardship, my loving nature never faded;I cared for my own puppies and even took in other abandoned ones.Since June 2024, I’ve been safe in a shelter, waiting for a real home. I’m a calm dog at heart and a natural nurturer who offers constant affection. While I get a bit excited on walks right now, it’s just because I’ve been confined, once I’m in a routine, my chilled-out self will return. Being intelligent and eager to please makes me a quick learner.A little stubbornness pops up occasionally, but my obedience is strong! Humans are my favorite thing in the world! My ideal home is a busy one with people everywhere, kids, grandmas, and visitors are all welcome. Bigger kids are a better match so I don't accidentally knock anyone over.I just want to love you up and and have you love me back!Additional videos:https://youtube.com/shorts/HQzhqZQYauc, https://youtu.be/EvafMy-pSPQ,  https://youtube.com/shorts/E5zc9kFSpjo?si=JhdWUMH1n160QCVEhttps://youtu.be/YZNP-ndXG1s, https://youtube.com/shorts/TxvPnkawZzc,  https://youtube.com/shorts/X4YZRvj8OzYEnergy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: noKids: yesFears: none observed.
