Meet Chikis – A Gentle Soul Looking for Love Chikis is a stunning 3.5-year-old Cane Corso with a heart as big as her paws. She was rescued from the West Valley Animal Shelter along with her brother, Zeus. Both came in with cherry eye—Chikis in one eye and Zeus in both—but thanks to the love and care they’ve received, they’re now fully recovered and thriving. At around 96 lbs, Chikis is: &#226&#156&#133 Spayed &#226&#156&#133 Vaccinated &#226&#156&#133 Microchipped Chikis is a timid, shy girl who simply wants a kind, patient person to show her the world isn’t so scary. She enjoys quiet moments, following her humans around, and curling up at their feet. She’s also playful when the mood strikes—especially if there’s a ball or some water involved! With her gentle spirit and loving eyes, Chikis is sure to steal your heart. She just needs a chance and a soft place to land. Meet ELIOTT  Eliott is a gorgeous brindle Cane Corso & Labrador Retriever mix who survived being euthanized at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. This big, handsome boy is about 2 years old and weighs approximately 111 lbs. Eliott and his sister, Foxy (also available for adoption), are both Baldwin Park survivors. Eliott is a very sweet, gentle giant who is friendly with both people and other dogs. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Eliott is currently in training with our professional trainers and is doing great while he patiently waits for his forever home. Meet Velvet! Velvet is a sweet, goofy Cane Corso with a heart as big as his paws. He can be nervous in new situations and needs a moment to trust—but once he knows you, he turns into a playful, affectionate lovebug who thinks laps are meant for him. This big guy has lots of energy and enjoys food puzzles, snuffle mats, chew toys, and trailing his person like a shadow. He’s social with other dogs, though he can be a bit excitable at first. He’s great on leash, house-trained, and sleeps quietly in his crate. Velvet had cherry-eye surgery; one eye healed perfectly and the other may stay slightly noticeable, though it doesn’t bother him. He’s also working on confidence-building training and has made great progress. While he hasn’t spent much time around young kids, Velvet could do well with dog-savvy children who understand how to interact respectfully with a large, still-learning pup. Because he’s strong, energetic, and still discovering the world, he’ll do best with someone who has large-breed experience, can set gentle boundaries, and is excited to provide daily exercise and structure. If you’re patient, loving, and ready to help a young dog blossom, Velvet will reward you with loyalty, laughter, and endless snuggles.

Vinnie went through a lot before coming to us. He was an evidence dog. He was broken. He would literally empty himself (pee & poo) at the sight of men. 😔 We jumped in and got to work. He's doing great! He is strong, healthy and happy now and ready for a forever home. He loves hard! He is terrific with everyone on 2 legs and 4 paws!
