Story
Hi, I’m Bunny and I’m ready to find my forever home!  Dog’s Name: Bunny Location: Portland, MI Date of Birth: 6/10/2025 Gender: Female Breed: Cane Corso Color: Black Dog's Weight: 75 Gets along with: Dogs?: Alll dogs Cats?:  Yes Kids?: Yes Training: Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty (is a puppy, expect accidents) Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Bunny  Bunny is an 11-month-old Cane Corso puppy with a giant personality packed into what her foster lovingly calls a “pocket Corso.” At around 75 pounds, Bunny is still very much a puppy — full of happy energy, goofy moments, and endless love for everyone she meets. This girl absolutely adores other dogs and would happily spend her days wrestling, romping, and making new friends. She has also done well with dog-savvy cats and kids. After she’s done playing, Bunny is more than ready to curl up close to her people for a long nap — preferably in bed with you if she gets the choice! Bunny is still learning the ropes and will need continued consistency with potty training, leash skills, and crate training. When she first comes out of her crate, her excitement can get the best of her and she may jump up a few times before settling and remembering her manners. She’s young, bright, eager to connect with her people, and would thrive with continued guidance and structure. She rides well in the car, settles in quickly, and has the kind of joyful spirit that makes people fall in love fast. Bunny would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a social, affectionate, playful young dog to grow with. Bunny is being fostered in Portland, Michigan and is ready to find a forever family who will embrace both her puppy chaos and her giant heart. As she has decompressed and settled into her foster home, her spunky and lovable side has really started to shine. While she may be a little slow to get moving at times, Eloise knows exactly what she wants… and she isn’t shy about letting you know! Eloise believes she deserves the royal treatment and will happily remind you when it’s time for attention. If you sit down, she takes that as her official invitation for ear scratches and affection. In fact, if you’re holding something in your hands, she may gently nudge it out of the way so you can focus on the important task at hand—loving her. Story
Hi, I’m Rafferty. I am ready to find my forever home! Dog’s Name: Rafferty Location: Green Bay, WI Date of Birth: 06/01/2025 Gender: Male Breed: Cane Corso Mix Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 104 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs  Cats?: No Kids?: Older kids or giant breed experienced younger kids Training: Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel with a treat as an incentive Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car: Doesn't like getting in the car, but rides well once in. Meet Rafferty! Rafferty is a sweet, loving pup who is full of personality and ready to bring joy to his forever home. He loves being around his people, whether he’s playing outside, gazing out the window, or soaking up attention. Rafferty is affectionate and social, and he has done very well meeting new people—always ready to share some happy licks! He does well in his crate and goes in without a fuss, though he will need a heavy-duty crate as he has figured out how to escape in the past. He may whine briefly but typically settles in nicely. Rafferty is still working on his leash skills, as he tends to get excited and a bit all over the place during walks. As a strong, growing pup, he doesn’t always realize his size, so continued training will be important. Like many puppies, Rafferty can get a little mouthy and may paw at you when excited, but he redirects very easily with toys and guidance. He is eager to learn and would thrive with consistent structure, training, and ongoing socialization to help him grow into a well-mannered adult. Rafferty would do best in a home with older children or kids who have experience with large breeds, as his size and enthusiasm can be a bit much for little ones. He does not require another dog but would do fine with one. A fenced yard is recommended to help him safely burn off energy and manage his curiosity about the world around him. Rafferty is a fun-loving, affectionate pup who just needs the right guidance and commitment to help him reach his full potential. In return, he’ll give you endless love, laughter, and a loyal companion for life. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. Story
Hi, I’m Bunny and I’m ready to find my forever home!  Dog’s Name: Big Momma Location: Portland, MI Date of Birth: 1/10/2021 Gender: Female Breed: Cane Corso Color: Black Dog's Weight: 135 Gets along with: Dogs?: Alll dogs Cats?:  Yes Kids?: Yes Training: Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty  Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Big Momma Big Momma is a 135-pound Cane Corso with a soft heart, a stubborn streak, and absolutely no concept of personal space — especially if you stop petting her before she thinks you should. This girl lives for attention and has perfected the famous “heavy paw” Corso move to politely-but-not-really-politely demand more scratches. At around 8 years old, Big Momma has settled beautifully into foster life in Portland, Michigan and is ready for a home that appreciates a slower pace, cozy naps, and leisurely sniff-filled walks. She’s not in a hurry about much these days unless it involves food, meeting people she loves, or finding the comfiest couch in the house. Big Momma is wonderful with kids, enjoys other dogs, and has done well with dog-savvy cats. She especially loves calm companions and tends to ignore dogs that are a little too energetic for her taste. She rides nicely in the car, enjoys tagging along on outings, and has been friendly even during vet visits. Her foster family wants adopters to know one important thing honestly: Big Momma will eat just about anything if given the opportunity. After needing major surgery for swallowing landscape fabric in the past, she will need a home committed to keeping fabric items like socks, bedding, and soft items safely out of reach. Because of this, she should be crated when unattended. Despite her size and occasional stubborn Corso opinions, Big Momma is an easy girl to love. She wants to make her people happy, enjoys being included in everyday life, and would do just fine with a first-time giant breed owner willing to set gentle boundaries and keep tempting snacks (including socks!) picked up. Big Momma isn’t looking for a perfect home — just a safe couch, loving people, and someone who understands that the best companions often come with a little extra personality. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online.
