Story
Venus was an abused dog. She is anxious at times and her age is unknown but I think she is 6-9. She is a very sweet dog. She is always looking to cuddle and get pets but she has anxiety. She doesn’t like to be left alone for long but is crate trained. Venus loves her crate, it is a safe spot for her. She needs an experienced owner who can help with her anxiety and spend time with her.

Story
Hi, I’m Iggy and I’m new to the rescue. I am currently decompressing and getting used to my foster family. Check back as my foster family learns more about me! Dog’s Name: Iggy Location: Plano, IL Date of Birth: 5/1/2025 Gender: Male Breed: Cane Corso Color: Black Dog's Weight: Approximately 100 Gets along with: Dogs?: Unknown Cats?:  Unknown Kids?:  Unknown Training: Leash trained: Were working on it Crate/Kennel:  Were working on it Potty trained: Were working on it Car:  Were working on it Meet Iggy! Iggy is a big, handsome boy who is extremely strong, energetic, and full of life, with a heart that clearly wants to connect with his people. Iggy is currently decompressing, and even during this transition he has shown that he listens well and truly wants to do what you ask. At his age, Iggy’s excitement often comes out as full-body wiggles and happy chaos. He can be a bit unsure about being alone and prefers the company of his people, making him a great candidate for continued confidence-building and structure. With guidance, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Iggy has all the makings of a loyal and devoted companion. Training & Personality Very eager to please High energy and very strong Still learning to manage excitement and impulses Would benefit from basic training and clear boundaries Thrives with routine and engagement The Perfect Home for IggyIggy will do best with an experienced, confident large or giant-breed owner who understands strength, energy, and the importance of training. Due to his size and tendency to throw his body around when excited, a home without small children is required. A secure fenced yard would be ideal so Iggy can safely burn off energy. While he may enjoy having a canine companion in the future, he does not require another dog in the home—his main need is a committed human who can provide structure, patience, and leadership. Iggy is a powerful, loving dog who wants nothing more than to belong. With the right adopter, he has the potential to become an incredible best friend and lifelong companion. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online. Story
Hi, I’m Rafferty. I am ready to find my forever home! Dog’s Name: Rafferty Location: Green Bay, WI Date of Birth: 06/01/2025 Gender: Male Breed: Cane Corso Mix Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 85 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs  Cats?: Unknown Kids?: Older kids or giant breed experienced younger kids Training: Leash trained: Walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel with a treat as an incentive Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car: Doesn't like getting in the car, but rides well once in. Meet Rafferty! Rafferty’s personality is truly shining. This sweet giant-breed puppy is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He has bursts of puppy energy filled with zoomies and toy time, followed by his favorite activity—curling up on the couch for cuddles. Rafferty is learning his puppy manners and is doing well with redirection as he figures out what is appropriate to nibble on (and what is not). He loves toys, enjoys interacting with people, and has gotten along wonderfully with everyone he has met. True to his affectionate nature, Rafferty is a big fan of giving kisses and soaking up attention. Rafferty will thrive in a home that understands the needs of a growing giant-breed puppy. Because of his size and breed characteristics, prior giant-breed experience is recommended. His adopter should be prepared to continue basic puppy training, including reinforcing good manners and helping him grow into his large body. He would do well in a home that can provide: Consistent structure and positive reinforcement training Plenty of interaction, enrichment, and supervised play Space to move and play (a fenced yard is a bonus, but not required with proper exercise) Rafferty may enjoy having another friendly dog in the home but would also be perfectly happy as the center of attention. He is suitable for a committed, patient adopter who is ready to guide him through puppyhood and into a well-mannered adult. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and cuddly companion with a heart as big as his paws, Rafferty may be your perfect match.
