Meet Kane
Kane — a big, handsome Cane Corso with a playful spirit, a loyal heart, and all the potential to become an incredible companion.
At 110 pounds, Kane is every bit the powerful guardian breed he was born to be. He's still learning the ropes of home life, but one thing is already clear—he absolutely loves people. Everyone he's met has been greeted with a wagging tail and a friendly attitude, proving that beneath his impressive size is a sweet, affectionate dog who enjoys making new friends.
Kane has a playful personality and is happiest when he has toys, balls, or something fun to chase. He loves spending time outdoors and proudly takes his self-appointed role as neighborhood watch. When people or cars pass by the yard, Kane makes sure everyone knows he's on duty with a few enthusiastic barks. Once visitors come inside, though, he's all about saying hello and soaking up attention.
Kane already knows "sit" and "come" and is making great progress learning his manners. He's responding more consistently to his name, enjoys working for treats, and is beginning to understand how rewarding training can be. He's still working on potty training and leash skills, but he's improving every day with consistency and positive reinforcement. As a young, powerful dog, Kane is incredibly strong and will need an adopter committed to continuing his training.
Around other dogs, Kane has done well passing them during outings, though he can become a little dominant or territorial if he becomes overstimulated. Slow, thoughtful introductions and continued guidance will help him be successful. His compatibility with cats and children is still unknown. While Kane has been wonderfully sweet with every person he's met, his excitement and strength can sometimes become overwhelming, so he'll need someone who can confidently redirect him and continue teaching him polite greetings.
Kane's ideal family is one that understands large guardian breeds or is committed to learning about them. He'll thrive with structure, consistency, regular exercise, and someone who appreciates both his playful side and his natural protective instincts. With the right leadership, Kane has all the ingredients to become an exceptional companion.

All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization.

Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
