Story
Meet Tessa! At just 1½ years old, Tessa is a stunning 70-pound Cane Corso with a story that reminds us not to judge a book by its cover. When she was found as a stray in Roseville, she wasn't acting tough—she was terrified. Animal Control officers spent time earning her trust as she stayed in full flight mode, frightened and unsure of the people trying to help her. Sadly, no one ever came looking for her during her stray hold. Once the shelter environment became familiar, Tessa slowly let her walls come down and revealed the gentle, sensitive soul that had been hiding beneath her intimidating appearance. She may be hesitant when meeting new people, but patience and kindness are rewarded tenfold. Once you become part of her circle, Tessa's loyalty and affection know no bounds, and she'll happily become your devoted best friend. Tessa has done well with other dogs that are similar in size and can appreciate her playful energy. She has not yet had the opportunity to meet cats, so any feline introductions would need to be handled thoughtfully. Although she may look like a powerful guardian, she's really more like an elephant who's afraid of a mouse—a big, goofy puppy at heart who is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. Because of her size, youthful enthusiasm, and sensitive nature, Tessa would thrive in a mature home that understands large guardian breeds and is willing to continue building her confidence. A securely fenced physical yard will be required to keep her safe, and regular leash walks will help her continue gaining confidence while strengthening her bond with her family. She has demonstrated a good understanding of house manners and is making great progress with crate training. Tessa isn't looking for perfection—she's looking for patience, understanding, and a family willing to see the loving dog behind the fearful first impression. In return, she'll offer unconditional loyalty, a gentle heart, and a lifetime of companionship. If you're ready to help this misunderstood girl write the happy ending she deserves, Tessa is waiting to love you furever Tessa is:Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and RabiesDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedScheduled for spay and entropion surgeryADOPTION FEE: $300 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program. FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. ##2802612##

Story
I got him from my sister a while ago but now I’m starting to realize that I’m too busy for him and my family isn’t making it any easier, I work from 3pm to 12AM every day. He is 8 years old but still a very healthy active dog and the friendliest most trustworthy dog to a fault and will take to anyone instantly and loves to meet new people. I want to give him to someone that can give him the attention I can’t give him throughout the day and I know will take good care of him.

🌸🍀 Meet Magnolia – A Gentle Soul in Bloom 🍀🌸 3 years old | 95 lbs | Calm, loving, and full of quiet beauty Like her namesake flower, Magnolia is soft, graceful, and quietly captivating. She’s a gentle girl with an old soul who finds joy in life’s simple moments. Sniffy walks, warm sunshine, and carrying her favorite stuffies like little treasures. Magnolia is low energy, house trained, and happiest in a peaceful home where she can fully relax, feel safe, and bloom at her own pace. 🌼 Why Magnolia is Pure Gold • Gentle, affectionate, and quiet • Great with respectful dogs and cats • Loves calm kids and kind humans • Excellent in the car and easygoing at home • Enjoys leisurely walks, outdoor exploring, and cozy lounging • Dog selective, but polite and social with the right matches • Thriving with her foster brother Wyatt—she truly blossoms with a canine companion by her side Having another friendly dog helps Magnolia feel more confident, safe, and engaged in her environment. 🌿 Care Note Magnolia has a small, manageable medical need—she may experience minor leaking after her morning potty break. She wears a diaper during that time and handles it like a champ 🌼 She is otherwise comfortable, dry, and doing well, and her care is being thoughtfully monitored by the rescue. 🌷 Her Perfect Home Magnolia would thrive in a patient, peaceful home with: • Another friendly dog • Calm, understanding humans • A cozy environment where she can feel secure and loved She isn’t demanding, just quietly wonderful.
