Story
**If you are interested in adopting Blade Tyrone, please contact Alicia at 248-875-0654.** Meet Blade 🐾 Blade was the runt of his litter, but you’d never know it from the size of his heart. He is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and well-mannered dog who truly loves being around people. Blade absolutely adores children and plays with my nieces and nephews all the time. When someone comes over, he has to say hello—usually by leaning in for hugs or asking for rubs. Blade is a quiet dog and not much of a barker. The only times he makes noise are when he needs to go outside (he is fully house-trained) or when he’s “talking” to you—he has his own little motions and specific barks for certain things. It’s actually very endearing. He loves chewing on empty plastic bottles, relaxing, and laying or sitting right next to you. Blade has never bitten anyone and is very friendly with adults—sometimes he’ll even get so happy that he jumps up briefly for a head rub or hug. He also gets along well with cats, which is great since there are many in the neighborhood. Blade is very sensitive and protective in the sweetest way. He does not like yelling or fighting—if voices get raised, he will step in between people and gently push them apart. Sometimes he may lightly grab an arm (without biting) to pull someone away, as if to say, “Please stop.” He does not dig holes in the yard, which is rare, and overall he is a calm, loving companion who just wants to be near his people. Blade truly needs a loving home as soon as possible. He is a wonderful dog with a big heart, and he deserves a family who will give him the love he gives so freely. If you have any questions or would like to meet Blade, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you for taking the time to read about this amazing boy. 💙 *This pet is featured through our Pet Re-Homing Program. This is a private pet. Please use your best judgement when deciding to meet. Any questions or comments regarding this pet should be directed to the owner listed. Again, this is not a pet affiliated with Oakland County Animal Shelter. This program was created to help residents of Oakland County needing placement of a loving pet and hopefully avoiding a stressful shelter environment.

Story
🍀 Meet Magnolia 🍀 3 years old | 95 lbs | Gentle and soulful Magnolia is a calm, sweet girl with a heart of gold and an old soul. She loves peaceful days, sniffy walks, a little sunshine on her fur, and carrying her favorite stuffies around the house. She is low energy, house trained, and happiest in a calm, loving home where she can truly relax and feel safe. ✨ Why Magnolia is pure gold • Gentle, affectionate, and quiet • Great with respectful dogs and cats • Loves calm kids and kind humans • Excellent in the car and easygoing at home • Enjoys walks, outdoor exploring, and cozy lounging • Dog selective but polite and social with the right matches • Thriving with her foster brother Wyatt and would do best in a home with another dog. She builds confidence, feels safer, and engages more when a canine companion is by her side 🩺 Care note Magnolia has a manageable medical need where she may leak a bit after her morning potty break. She wears a diaper during that time and handles it like a champ. She is otherwise dry, comfortable, and doing well, and the rescue continues to monitor her care. 💚 Magnolia would thrive in a patient, peaceful home with another friendly dog and people who value a gentle, loyal companion. She is not demanding, just quietly wonderful and truly a lucky charm of a girl. 🍀 Ready to add a little luck and a lot of love to your life Apply to adopt https://www.underdogrescueranch.com/adopt

Meet Emmy!Emmy came to us as a stray and she is ready for adoption. Here are the details on Emmy:-Emmy gets along with some dogs. If you have a dog in the home, we will do a dog to dog meet and greet to see if everyone gets along. But she would also do well as the only pet.-Emmy loves people. No one is a stranger to her. She will gladly fall into your lap for pets and affection. Think of a canon ball launching into your arms. -Emmy is energetic and playful. There is no squeaky toy she doesn't love. -Emmy needs a house so she can have room to roam but a fenced in yard is not required. If you are a pretty active person and ready for the wiggliest companion, Emmy is waiting for you!If your application was approved and you received a call back from the Humane Society of Macomb for a meet and greet, plan to take the animal home that day. Be prepared to adopt and to bring a home a new family member. We cannot place puppies/dogs on hold to come pick up for another day.Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. We can never guarantee the breeds of the animals. We do not DNA test. Please feel free to call us with any questions.
