Story
**If you are interested in adopting Blade Tyrone, please contact Alicia at 248-875-0654.** Meet Blade 🐾 Blade was the runt of his litter, but you’d never know it from the size of his heart. He is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and well-mannered dog who truly loves being around people. Blade absolutely adores children and plays with my nieces and nephews all the time. When someone comes over, he has to say hello—usually by leaning in for hugs or asking for rubs. Blade is a quiet dog and not much of a barker. The only times he makes noise are when he needs to go outside (he is fully house-trained) or when he’s “talking” to you—he has his own little motions and specific barks for certain things. It’s actually very endearing. He loves chewing on empty plastic bottles, relaxing, and laying or sitting right next to you. Blade has never bitten anyone and is very friendly with adults—sometimes he’ll even get so happy that he jumps up briefly for a head rub or hug. He also gets along well with cats, which is great since there are many in the neighborhood. Blade is very sensitive and protective in the sweetest way. He does not like yelling or fighting—if voices get raised, he will step in between people and gently push them apart. Sometimes he may lightly grab an arm (without biting) to pull someone away, as if to say, “Please stop.” He does not dig holes in the yard, which is rare, and overall he is a calm, loving companion who just wants to be near his people. Blade truly needs a loving home as soon as possible. He is a wonderful dog with a big heart, and he deserves a family who will give him the love he gives so freely. If you have any questions or would like to meet Blade, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you for taking the time to read about this amazing boy. 💙 *This pet is featured through our Pet Re-Homing Program. This is a private pet. Please use your best judgement when deciding to meet. Any questions or comments regarding this pet should be directed to the owner listed. Again, this is not a pet affiliated with Oakland County Animal Shelter. This program was created to help residents of Oakland County needing placement of a loving pet and hopefully avoiding a stressful shelter environment.

Story
Good With Kids: Yes, 8 and up. Good With Other Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: Tested, but has not lived with cats. Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes House Manners: Good Walks Nicely On A Leash: Yes, Tess is an easy walker Knows Basic Commands: Sit Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High):Couch Potato to Moderate Special Needs: None Physical Fence: Preferred / No Invisible Fences Nickname: Dutchess Favorite game: Fetch Arrival story: Spent a long stint at the Saginaw County Animal Shelter. Approximate age / Weight: 10-years-old and 66 lbs. Personality: The Duchess has arrived. The Duchess of Waggin’ Tails that is! Ruler of the foster dog kingdom or errr… her foster home. Tess is a spunky lady, who loves to snuggle, go for walks, play with her tiny toys and zoomie around the yard. Queen Tess is a pretty easy-going lady and loves to just hang out with her people on her throne (couch) after taking you on a parade around her kingdom (neighborhood). She knows sit, and has more of a refined palate and leans into being more of a meat and potato type of girl. Tess is kind to all her subjects (cat and dog-tested). She is nervous around new people, so a slow introduction with lots of treats is the way to this queen’s heart. New Home: She likes to hang out with her people and is a great daily walking buddy. Would be happy living with other animals, but would also be happy to eat up all the attention she truly deserve as the only Queen in your home. Are you willing to roll out the red carpet for her? Contact: Please contact wtdr@waggintailsdogrescue.org with any questions or submit adoption application via our website www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoption-application. ADOPTION INFO: We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar on our website for the date and time of the next adoption event. Story
🐾 Meet Magnolia 🐾 3 years old | 95 lbs | Gentle & soulful Magnolia is a calm, sweet girl with a soft heart and an old soul. She loves peaceful days, sniffy walks, sunshine, and carrying her favorite stuffies around the house. She’s low-energy, house-trained, and happiest in a calm, loving home. ✨ What to know about Magnolia: • Gentle, affectionate, and quiet • Great with respectful dogs and cats • Loves calm kids and kind humans • Excellent in the car, easygoing at home • Enjoys walks, outdoor exploring, and lounging • Dog-selective but polite and social with the right matches 🩺 Care note: Magnolia has a manageable medical need where she may leak a bit after her morning potty break. She wears a diaper during that time and handles it like a champ. She’s otherwise dry, comfortable, and doing well — and the rescue is continuing to monitor her care. 💛 Magnolia would thrive in a patient, peaceful home with people who value a gentle, loyal companion. She’s not demanding — just quietly wonderful. 👉 Apply to adopt: https://www.underdogrescueranch.com/adopt

Story
*UTD/MICROCHIPPED/ ON MONTHLY FLEA AND TICK AND HEARTWORM PILL/SPAYED *good with cats *no kids under 12 ( she is very fast when she runs) *non- reactive dogs are best to pair her with *loves chew toys and tennis balls!! On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! We do believe she is house broken as she has not made any messes in our home or the dog building. **We do offer foster to adopt to do a trail run** ( PLEASE ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION AS WE TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS/ REQUESTS AS NEEDED, THE BEST WE CAN) If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us through here, or through our website at www.woofwooffosters.org . Thank you, woofwoof fosters -team This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.
