Story
Hi my name is Zezzy! I am a good boy/girl and I am looking for an active owner willing to offer training and exercise, but in return I can offer unconditional love and years of happiness. I’m a high energy dog, I love to jump and play. My energy may not be suitable for young children. I do have some big feelings about some things in this world and tend to express this by reacting with barking and may be a bit too much for some families. I will need to continue my training and HSHV offers classes for dogs like me! Visit www.hshv.org for more information.

Story
Good With Kids: Yes, 8 and up. Good With Other Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: Tested, but has not lived with cats. Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes House Manners: Good Walks Nicely On A Leash: Yes, Tess is an easy walker Knows Basic Commands: Sit Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High):Couch Potato to Moderate Special Needs: None Physical Fence: Preferred / No Invisible Fences Nickname: Dutchess Favorite game: Fetch Arrival story: Spent a long stint at the Saginaw County Animal Shelter. Approximate age / Weight: 10-years-old and 66 lbs. Personality: The Duchess has arrived. The Duchess of Waggin’ Tails that is! Ruler of the foster dog kingdom or errr… her foster home. Tess is a spunky lady, who loves to snuggle, go for walks, play with her tiny toys and zoomie around the yard. Queen Tess is a pretty easy-going lady and loves to just hang out with her people on her throne (couch) after taking you on a parade around her kingdom (neighborhood). She knows sit, and has more of a refined palate and leans into being more of a meat and potato type of girl. Tess is kind to all her subjects (cat and dog-tested). She is nervous around new people, so a slow introduction with lots of treats is the way to this queen’s heart. New Home: She likes to hang out with her people and is a great daily walking buddy. Would be happy living with other animals, but would also be happy to eat up all the attention she truly deserve as the only Queen in your home. Are you willing to roll out the red carpet for her? Contact: Please contact wtdr@waggintailsdogrescue.org with any questions or submit adoption application via our website www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoption-application. ADOPTION INFO: We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar on our website for the date and time of the next adoption event. Arrangements can be made to meet a dog outside of adoption events after an application is submitted and approved. Our adoption process includes an application and in-home meet-n-greet with the dog. -Adult Dog Adoption Fee - $250 -Senior Dog Adoption Fee - $125 -Pup Adoption Fee - $250 plus $50 spay/neuter deposit refunded upon proof of surgery by 6 mos.

Story
🐾 Meet Magnolia 🐾 3 years old | 95 lbs | Gentle & soulful Magnolia is a calm, sweet girl with a soft heart and an old soul. She loves peaceful days, sniffy walks, sunshine, and carrying her favorite stuffies around the house. She’s low-energy, house-trained, and happiest in a calm, loving home. ✨ What to know about Magnolia: • Gentle, affectionate, and quiet • Great with respectful dogs and cats • Loves calm kids and kind humans • Excellent in the car, easygoing at home • Enjoys walks, outdoor exploring, and lounging • Dog-selective but polite and social with the right matches 🩺 Care note: Magnolia has a manageable medical need where she may leak a bit after her morning potty break. She wears a diaper during that time and handles it like a champ. She’s otherwise dry, comfortable, and doing well — and the rescue is continuing to monitor her care. 💛 Magnolia would thrive in a patient, peaceful home with people who value a gentle, loyal companion. She’s not demanding — just quietly wonderful. 👉 Apply to adopt: https://www.underdogrescueranch.com/adopt

Story
**If you are interested in adopting Blade Tyrone, please contact Alicia at 248-875-0654.** Meet Blade 🐾 Blade was the runt of his litter, but you’d never know it from the size of his heart. He is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and well-mannered dog who truly loves being around people. Blade absolutely adores children and plays with my nieces and nephews all the time. When someone comes over, he has to say hello—usually by leaning in for hugs or asking for rubs. Blade is a quiet dog and not much of a barker. The only times he makes noise are when he needs to go outside (he is fully house-trained) or when he’s “talking” to you—he has his own little motions and specific barks for certain things. It’s actually very endearing. He loves chewing on empty plastic bottles, relaxing, and laying or sitting right next to you. Blade has never bitten anyone and is very friendly with adults—sometimes he’ll even get so happy that he jumps up briefly for a head rub or hug. He also gets along well with cats, which is great since there are many in the neighborhood. Blade is very sensitive and protective in the sweetest way. He does not like yelling or fighting—if voices get raised, he will step in between people and gently push them apart. Sometimes he may lightly grab an arm (without biting) to pull someone away, as if to say, “Please stop.” He does not dig holes in the yard, which is rare, and overall he is a calm, loving companion who just wants to be near his people. Blade truly needs a loving home as soon as possible. He is a wonderful dog with a big heart, and he deserves a family who will give him the love he gives so freely. If you have any questions or would like to meet Blade, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you for taking the time to read about this amazing boy. 💙 *This pet is featured through our Pet Re-Homing Program. This is a private pet. Please use your best judgement when deciding to meet. Any questions or comments regarding this pet should be directed to the owner listed. Again, this is not a pet affiliated with Oakland County Animal Shelter. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Slim – the Sweetest Survivor  Please note: The second photo is a BEFORE picture—Slim is healthy and thriving now!  From the streets of Detroit to a journey of healing, Slim has been through more than most—but you’d never know it by the way his tail wags. This stunning Cane Corso came to us severely emaciated, weighing under 40 pounds when he should have been closer to 100. But Slim didn’t let that hardship define him. Despite everything, all he knows is love. Slim is a true gentle giant in the making. He adores other dogs—yes, even the tiny 20-pounders—and plays with them like he’s one of the pack. He’s goofy, affectionate, and loves rolling around on his back with his favorite toys. If there’s attention to be had, Slim is all in! He’s still gaining weight and working toward his healthy goal of around 100 pounds, but he’s well on his way and doing great. His spirit is strong, his belly is full, and his heart is even fuller. &#226&#156&#133 Good with dogs &#226&#156&#133 Kid-friendly (ages 10+ recommended due to his size) &#226&#156&#133 Toy enthusiast and belly-rub champion &#226&#156&#133 Ready to find his forever home Please note: The second photo is a BEFORE picture—Slim is healthy and thriving now!
