Story
This big guy is super friendly! He’s a beautiful Cane Corso. He came in pretty thin so we are trying to get some weight on him. He’s a really nice, well behaved boy! We never thought that Lloyd would still be here with us after all these months. He’s a perfect dog. He’s friendly and sweet and gentle and well mannered. He’s so gentle with one of the volunteers children. There’s not enough good things to say about him. He is a beautiful dog as you can see from his pictures. If you’re a sucker for a big dog, this is the guy for you.!

Story
Ingigo is shy and scared in the kennel right now. She’ll quickly learn that she’s safe and loved here we will be patient with her while showing her the kindness she deserves. She’s a stunning dog. She has such a sweet gentle disposition. She lets us do anything including trimming her nails with absolutely no issue! She will do best with another dog in the house to help with her confidence. She needs a dog to guide her and let her know that everything’s alright. We have no idea why she’s so scared but the only thing that gives her confidence and security is the guidance of another dog.

Story
Meet Girlfriend — A Loyal Guardian Looking for Her PersonGirlfriend is a stunning 1.5-year-old Cane Corso mix, weighing in at around 100 pounds of strength, beauty, and devotion. With her gorgeous brindle coat and soulful eyes, she turns heads — but it’s her loyalty and heart that truly make her special.Girlfriend came to us from local animal control and has already overcome a lot, including undergoing double cherry eye surgery while in our care. She’s now healthy, feeling great, and ready for her next chapter. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give her a little time and you’ll quickly see her affectionate side shine through. Once she trusts you, Girlfriend is incredibly loving — she’ll happily cover you in kisses, lean her full weight into you for scratches, and soak up all the belly rubs you’re willing to give. She forms strong bonds and is the definition of a loyal companion.Girlfriend enjoys walks and runs, but she is a very strong girl and will need someone physically capable of handling her size and power. She doesn’t always realize just how big she is, so continued training and structure will be important to help her succeed. She would do best in a home with no cats and should be considered dog selective. A home without children is also required to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.About the Breed:Cane Corsos are intelligent, powerful working dogs bred for protection and loyalty. They are not a beginner breed. They thrive with confident, experienced owners who understand the importance of leadership, structure, and consistent training. Without proper guidance, their size and instincts can become overwhelming — but in the right hands, they are incredibly devoted, obedient, and loving companions.Girlfriend is looking for a breed-experienced owner who understands large guardian breeds and is committed to providing:—Consistent training and boundaries—Proper socialization—Physical and mental stimulation—A structured, stable home environmentShe is currently getting the hang of housetraining and will continue to improve with routine and patience.Girlfriend has so much love to give to the right person. She’s not the dog for everyone — but for someone experienced and committed, she will be an incredibly rewarding companion who will stand by your side through everything. If you’re ready for a loyal, protective, and deeply loving best friend, Girlfriend is waiting for you.Adoption application can be found here-https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq

Story
Jasmine had a terrible life until she came to the rescue. She was a breeding mother at an Amish puppy mill. When she couldn’t breed anymore, she was surrendered to us rather than be euthanized. Jazzy is a 7 year old cane corso, completely vetted, and housebroken. She wants all the attention she can get. She doesn’t care that she’s the size of a person. She still thinks you should hold her and that she can be a lap dog. She loves stuffies, especially long ones like snakes and caterpillars. She also likes going on walks, playing in the yard, and running around with the zoomies. We’ve been trying to work on some training, unfortunately time here is limited for that. She has learned sit and place. She is extremely treat motivated. Someone with more time would likely be able to teach her with ease. She is extremely stubborn though, so she will need someone with Corso or similar breed experience. She also can resource guard. It does seem to be at a minimum with people now, however she will still guard with other dogs. Overall though, she is a happy and loving dog. Her little nub tail is alway wiggling. Please help us find a place for Jasmine. This girl was used for the first 3/4 of her life. Let her be loved for the last part of it.
