She is not aggressive but does enjoy being the alpha, so a household with a calm, understanding, and possibly more dominant owner would suit her best. Xena is house-trained and fully potty trained, making her an easy addition to your family. She has a playful streak and loves hugs and attention, especially from older kids who can appreciate her loving nature. While she may squeal when confined in a crate, playing classical music can help soothe her during those times. She will need some leash training to help her walk comfortably and confidently on leash. Despite her past, she is very interested in people, but she does need to get to know you first. She is a sweet and gentle Cane Corso. We are asking for adopters to have previous Cane Corso or guardian breed experience who know how to handle a pup of her size. Bertha would do well in a home with children 13 years or older who will respect her space and boundaries and be okay with a large dog. Nova appears to be a Cane Corso mix, though her full breed mix remains a mystery. What isn’t a mystery is her wonderful personality. She is very friendly, people-loving, and eager for attention, making fast friends wherever she goes. Nova also does well with other dogs, though a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings is required to ensure the best match for everyone. Nova is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, so she’s all set to head home and begin her next chapter. Story
Jasmine had a terrible life until she came to the rescue. She was a breeding mother at an Amish puppy mill. When she couldn’t breed anymore, she was surrendered to us rather than be euthanized. Jazzy is a 6 year old cane corso, completely vetted, and housebroken. She wants all the attention she can get. She doesn’t care that she’s the size of a person. She still thinks you should hold her and that she can be a lap dog. She loves stuffies, especially long ones like snakes and caterpillars. She also likes going on walks, playing in the yard, and running around with the zoomies. We’ve been trying to work on some training, unfortunately time here is limited for that. She has learned sit and place. She is extremely treat motivated. Someone with more time would likely be able to teach her with ease. She is extremely stubborn though, so she will need someone with Corso or similar breed experience. She also can resource guard. It does seem to be at a minimum with people now, however she will still guard with other dogs. Overall though, she is a happy and loving dog. Her little nub tail is alway wiggling. Please help us find a place for Jasmine. This girl was used for the first 3/4 of her life. Let her be loved for the last part of it.

He’s an amazing dog I hate having to rehome him he’s free to the best family possible. He loves kids and other dogs. Just no super small children he doesn’t bite but he’s very big and doesn’t know how big he is. He’s potty trained. He shakes hands. He says please. He sits. And speaks. I recently had a baby and he’s too much to handle on top of a newborn. Chewbacca try’s to give him kisses but he’s just too big. And I can’t take the Risk of him stepping on him. No cats we have 3 cats he won’t hurt them but he will chase them. Really overall he’s so sweet and loves to cuddle and be up your but with whatever you are doing. He also likes to steal shoes lol. But like I said he really is amazing I just don’t have the time for him and I can’t have him jumping on my baby.
