Pumbaa is a silly little man that loves to play outside. He enjoys ear scratches and lounging around his hoomans. His previous family consisted of 3 adults and 6 children of various ages. They noted that he is a good loyal dog and knows how to protect his pack. He lived in an apartment/condo situation that had access to a yard. He`s been known to avoid other dogs and cats inside the home. From his previous notes, observation with his previous family and foster, we believe he has potential to be properly introduced to and eventually live with children, other mellow and calm pets. Our shy man prefers a calm environment and doesn`t like sudden and loud changes around him. He has crate experience in his previous home. Pumbaa loves playing with squeaky toys (lamb chops). He was used to 3 walks a day and is considered a medium energy dog. Any potential foster and adopters should note to introduce new things slowly and follow the 333 rule.

If there was ever a comedian in dog form, Fat Boy would be it! His exuberant, bouncy, happy personality and meaty, jowly face will keep you giggling and smiling all day long. Every time his volunteer friends get Fat Boy out of his kennel for a walk or an outing, he is just SO excited and thrilled to be out and about. All of his campus outings include a break in one of the Real Life Rooms, rooms set up like tiny homes with air conditioning and comforts of a real living space, and Fat Boy absolutely loves his breaks there! He seems to know exactly what to do indoors, and often will immediately lay down and request pets.He does seem to have something wonky going on with his legs/back hips, but this doesn’t slow him down one bit! Recently, two of Fat Boys volunteer friends took him on a fun outing to the creek and he had a chance to show off his swimming skills! He fetched toys and rocks in the water like it was his duty, and he truly had just the absolute best day. Fat Boy is one of those dogs who is just happy to be alive and is just so incredulous and amazed with every new thing. You just cannot help but smile and be amazed at the world too!Fat Boy is house trained, walks well on a leash outside of shelter grounds, and loves car rides and adventures as much as he does lounging around indoors while you watch TV. He is also a volunteer and staff favorite, and he comes with the full support of his best friends at Orange Dot Crew!
