**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Agatha! 🐾 For some, a second chance takes a little longer, but in the end, it's always worth the wait. Agatha was abandoned six years ago and survived alongside homeless camps. After being hit by a car twice, she finally made it into our care, where she has been able to recover. When Agatha first arrived, she had severe skin issues. Now, she proudly sports a shiny black coat and floppy ears to match. She may be a large dog, but she's truly a gentle giant. Agatha walks well on a leash and is happy to quietly stroll around the yard or sit beside you for some affection. She can be a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she becomes the most devoted companion. Nothing makes her happier than seeing her favorite people as she'll bounce up and down with excitement to greet them. Agatha would do well in a home with children ages 8 and older, and she does well around cats. Agatha has waited many years for her second chance, and she's done the hard part by healing. Looking for a forever home for Rya – 2½-year-old Cane Corso This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever written. Rya is our 2½-year-old Cane Corso — 96 lbs of solid muscle, strong, athletic, and deeply loyal. She is a true protector of her family, yet gentle and loving with kind, respectful people. She instinctively stays on guard if she senses tension or “bad energy” from people or other dogs. She thrives on daily exercise: 1-hour runs or long park walks with me. After workouts she eats breakfast; dinner is 5–6 pm. She’s been fed quality dog food mixed with rice + ground beef or sardines since she was 1 for solid protein. Indoors she is calm and well-mannered — no chewing, no destruction, just loves resting in her bed, playing with toys, and getting treats. She’s indoor most of the time except for potty and exercise. Octavia has been my baby since she was 4 months old, where I got her from a reputable breeder in Colorado. She just turned 2 years old and weighs just under a hundred pounds. I am looking for a new home for her where she can be a spoiled only child like she always has been since puppyhood. She needs lots of affection and baby talk and adventures to go on. She is a medium-energy girl, and enjoys getting a few good runs in at the dog park but most importantly getting attention from people. She needs a home she can roam freely in (no containment) and a nice, big backyard to play in. She can be a rascal and has lots of attitude in all the right ways, she needs a calm pet parent who can be kind and caring at all times. She has doggie anxiety and allergies that are her only medical concerns.
