Story
Big Guy is a gentle giant! He is very sweet and loves being petted and being close to you. He is crate trained and house broken. He walks well on a leash. Loves to sit on the back porch steps and watch the world go by. Big Guy plays well with the dog he was found with and with my other fosters dogs. He loves to run. He is nervous when he hears thunder or fire works.  So some cuddling time would help here. He has not shown any aggression tendencies and minds well. Big Guy is a real sweetheart and always ready to play.  He is looking for his own wonderful family to take him home.November 6, 2024, 4:32 pm

Story
I found him on the side of the road about 4 weeks ago. I didn’t know what the process was to find a shelter so I brought him home and haven’t been able to find a shelter to take him to. I cannot afford to feed him and the dog he was found with. I went to the mobil vet and they said he was Anatolian shepherd about 18 months. He seems to be a nice dog. We’ve been calling him Benji.

Story
Rosa is about as sweet as she can be, loves to play, sleep, and get pets! She's timid when you first meet her, but once she's comfortable, she opens up. She is great with other dogs, young kids, and has been totally non-reactive to cats (or any other small animal we pass on our walks.) She would likely be fine living with cats, but has not had the opportunity. She sleeps in her crate at night, sleeps quietly when foster mom works from home, and although she whimpers a little bit when her foster mom leaves the house, she calms down and can stay alone for long periods with no issues. She occasionally will chew on some socks or a board book, but only when she's really excited, she has never been destructive when home alone. Since she loves other dogs and LOVES to play, would likely be the best fit with another playful dog in the home. She is currently being treated for heart worm, takes her medications with no problems, and is excellent at walking on a leash and is potty trained! She really is such a wonderful dog. Rosa is a female Anatolian Shepherd with an estimated DOB of 10/1/2022. She weighs 46 lbs.

Story
Lucy is an 8 year old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd. Our family adopted her at 6 weeks old to be a Livestock Guardian and protect our chickens. She’s been around them since she was a puppy and does great with them. She sits outside and watches over them all day, but does come in at night to sleep. She’s used to other dogs (we had 2 Labradors who have passed) and cats. As much as she is a livestock guardian, she’s also our family pet, and loves to be where we are. We’d love for her to go to a home where she can just be loved on, sleep inside at night, and be included with the family. She’s Invisible Fence trained, and great on a leash. She is stubborn, as all Pyrenees are, but she is the sweetest, most gentle dog we’ve ever had.
