Story
*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Bell! Beautiful 10-year-old Bell needs a loving new home. She was adopted in North Carolina as a puppy, and although her mom still loves her very much, she is struggling to provide the time, space, and care that Bell needs due to a change in personal circumstances.  At 35 lbs., Bell is a perfect mid-size dog. She is described as a "very good, loyal girl who loves attention and people of all ages." Bell is house-trained and good with other dogs, She acts much younger than her years and loves walks, hikes, trips to the off-leash dog park, and playing fetch. If you are looking for a loving and fun best friend, Bell might be the one for you! If you are interested in learning more about Bell, please contact Leslie at (580)919-6497 or  salas.leslie89@gmail.com   *Frosted Faces Foundation has not assessed this dog medically or behaviorally.* September 25, 2023, 4:08 am

Story
Zelda is a beautiful girl looks like a mix of a Carolina Dog, Anatolian Shepherd, a Jindo Dog, and a Belgian Malinois. She also has a bit of cattle dog in her. Truly, Zelda is lovely, but it's hard to guess her blend! She’s a real cutie who is about 10 months old and weighs 50 pounds. She's full grown. Zelda and she gets along great with all my other dogs, big ones, little ones, puppies, and adult dogs. The most interesting thing about this pretty girl is how much she loves to swim! I would say she has to have some Labrador Retriever in her because every opportunity she gets to take a swim at the beach or in the pool, she’s there! She also has slightly webbed feet, and she's a skilled athlete. Her doggie paddle is the best! There’s not a nasty bone in this pretty girl’s body either. She would benefit from some more training because she’s just a 10-month-old puppy, but she knows how to sit and knows all her basic manners. She’s completely housetrained, and crate trained, and she loves to sleep on the cool tile floor or in her crate on a muggy day. Of course, Zelda is spayed and has all her shots. Gracie is very much a sport dog. She’s a young pup with a lot of energy and will make a great companion for an active family or an active individual. I am a firm believer in allowing people to take a new buddy home for a “sleepover" to be sure your family, your other pets, and whomever you adopt all get along. Of course, we ALWAYS take our rascals back if things don’t work out. Please email findabestbuddy@gmail.com or call 858-602-2061 to meet this sweet, affectionate, and wonderful pup!

Story
Meet Marie! This girl is always down for adventure (unfortunately, without her people)! This girl has gotten lose 4 different times from adopters and fosters and has trekked from North County to South County of San Diego prior to landing with us. With the proper adopter, this girl is aiming to please, does great with dogs and is devoted to her inner circle of people. Due to her ability to escape, she can NEVER be left unattended (crated when you are gone or can't keep an eye on her) and walked on a double leash. We know this doesn’t make her sound like the most appealing dog in the world, but we promise you, once you meet her, the extra safety measures won't seem that bad.  She wants nothing more than to please and be with her people.  Her escape tendencies come from years living at large in the desert and protecting her pups.  She can jump (impressively), climb, leverage, dig, you name it.  Loud noises and the unexpected scare her.  She has blossomed from being aloof to approaching every new person looking for food and love.  She is loyal, loving, kind and forgiving.  She is solid with dogs and balanced with a neutral mate.  She loves to explore the world on leash and just hang out if that is preferred.  It's been a year in the making but she is more than ready to graduate to her future home.  She needs a forever that will keep her safe no matter what and she'll love your forever in return. Because of my Flight Risk I cannot be left unattended in a yard, crate training is a must when you are gone, tight grip on the leash is a must on adventures and my new family must be aware of open doors and windows.  NO offleash activities in unfenced areas for life. Story
Scarlett is a 6 year old boy pure bred Shiba Inu with all the characteristics of the breed. She’s playful in spurts but lazy most of the time. She likes to play fetch, lay outside in the sun + get neck scratches. Scarlett moved to San Diego last year from city life and is loving her time outdoors. While I have to relocate, she deserves to still enjoy the space and activities she now has access to. Scarlett is great with all humans but can be aggressive with cats, dogs smaller than her.
