Meet Drue… she was abandoned in a kennel facility by her owner where she stayed for two years. Drue was about to be sent to a high kill shelter, as the kennel facility was closing. Another organization found out about her situation and took her under their wing to save her life. Now, she needs a new home, and a family to call her own. Drue is approximately 4 years old, around 60 lbs. She is mellow, great with all people and great with all dogs, non-reactive to cats. Very, very sweet girl! She loves toys and is crate trained (she often takes her toys into the crate with her). If you would like to offer Drue a happily ever after, please contact us. I don't know if I want to nap inside or outside. But I do love sleeping close to you in your bed. I want to say I'm house trained, but my frustration makes me have accidents. The reason I am looking for a new home is because of my separation anxiety. Its really bad. I start to whimper whenever my owner goes to the bathroom. I feel alone even though I AM NEVER ALONE. I think that I will be better with another dog and or rural space. I have a "pack mentality". Much more at ease with two or more people. Arya is an 8 year old Basenji/Jack Russel mix who loves cuddles and attention. She would do best in a home with no other pets (cats or dogs) and no small children and with someone who either works from home or is home alot! She struggles with separation anxiety which leads to accidents, chewing things and being angry. My husband and I try our best to give her all of the love and attention that she deserves and loves so much but now that we have a 2 year old toddler and we both work full time job outside of the home, we are not able to give her what she really needs. Someone who is versed in dog training could be very beneficial. She is up to date on all shots and spayed. She would be the perfect fit for.a family that is home often and able to giver her the correct training, love and attention that she desires!

Unfortunately his owner had to surrender him to TLC K9 Rescue because he got very sick and just couldn't take care of him anymore. Zorro is a sweet pure breed 1 ½ yr old Basenji who is super playful, loving, affectionate, and gives lots of kisses too. But as most Basenji's he can be high-spirited, curious, charming and loves to clown around. At times he can also be aloof, independent and self-contained by relaxing with a yummy bully stick. He typically doesn't like being left alone for long periods of time, so if you work at home he'll be right at your feet or laying in his kennel. Zorro adores people, older considerate children and likes to play with other friendly dogs. He is crate, potty and leash trained. He's a smart boy who has learned several commands immediately. He loves his walks, but he must be kept on leash at all times!!! We are looking for an active and experienced family with the breed and if you have another young dog for Zorro to play with then that would definitely be a plus.
