Story
Mookie is a quiet, gentle cat who blossoms with time and patience. Shy at first, he’s made wonderful progress in foster care and now confidently seeks out affection, often coming over to sit nearby, knead and purr loudly once he feels safe.He enjoys calm companionship and low-key interactions, preferring a peaceful environment where he can settle in at his own pace.Mookie has shown excellent litter box habits and has been reliable in a home setting. He would do best with someone who appreciates a softer, more sensitive cat and enjoys letting a relationship develop naturally over time.If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who forms deep bonds once comfortable, Mookie could be a wonderful match!

Story
We know Teddy has a bit of grumpy face, but he`s trying his best okay? Shelter life can be a bit much, especially when you came to the shelter after being hit by a car. Teddy is secretly a BIG snuggler; in foster, he was never far from his foster mom`s lap, purring up a storm while she brushed his soft black coat. He`ll happily flop over to let you know he wants pets, or lean in for cheek scritches. In shelter, Teddy has been much more timid, but gentle and sweet. If you respect his boundaries and give him space and time to trust you and warm up, you`ll get to see how affectionate, curious and cuddly he really is. Why not visit the shelter and give Teddy some love today!

Story
Meet Sammy, the sweet, affectionate, and loving tabby who`s looking for a new family to call her own! Her previous family described her as quiet, cuddly and well-mannered. She can be a little timid around boisterous personalities, so a quiet family who understands cats would be her cup of tea! Soon she`ll be laying in your lap or joining you on the couch for some TV time! She even enjoys short, relaxed walks on leash! It seemed that Sammy was pretty stressed out by other animals in the home, so she may do best as the only pet. But don`t worry; she`s got lots of love to give so you won`t be missing out! That`s all for now from the super sweet Sammy! Come give her a gentle visit today (she gives kisses)!

Story
If you`re in the neighbourhood for a chatty senior sweetheart, then Brownie just may be the gal for you! Brownie is an affectionate, friendly, and oh-so-silly gal that will do anything to get attention from her person. Whether it`s sticking her paws through the kennel door or even doing backflips on the floor, it will never be boring with Brownie around! She isn`t a big fan of invasive handling or restraint, so be sure to listen to your elder kitty when she says she`s not a fan of something! That`s why Brownie`s ideal home will be calm, quiet, and with a family that has a strong understanding of cat body language.Just be sure that you`re prepared to give Brownie all of the care that she requires as a senior kitty. This includes things like extra platforms to jump on to help with her joints or regular grooming to brush out those hard to reach places. There are some medical concerns and a special diet that our adoption counselors can go over before you fall completely in love with her silly face! Because once you see how spunky and spry Brownie can be, it will be even harder not to want to take her home!If you want to learn more about Brownie, she is eagerly waiting for you to come and give her a visit today!

Story
Jeremy may be shy at first, but he has shown that once he feels comfortable, he enjoys gentle attention such as head and neck scratches and will sometimes seek out interaction on his own terms. He responds well to a quiet environment and has shown interest in interactive toys, particularly wand toys, though his engagement can vary depending on how settled he feels.Jeremy would be best suited to a calm home with someone who is happy to let a relationship develop gradually and appreciates a cat who communicates quietly and thoughtfully.

Story
Cheshire is a friendly, sweet-natured cat who enjoys gentle interaction, especially head scratches. He’s shown himself to be approachable and tolerant when handled thoughtfully, with a calm presence once he feels comfortable.Like many cats, Cheshire has clear preferences around handling and can become grumpy if overstimulated, particularly during more invasive touch. He benefits from respectful interactions that end before he’s had enough - and he’s quick to settle again once given space.Cheshire would be a great match for someone who understands feline boundaries and appreciates a friendly cat who enjoys affection on his own terms.
