He was once part of a large outdoor colony, but life has taken a sweeter turn—and he is loving it more every day. While they still carry that cool-cat, independent vibe 😎, they’ve started to really lean into the good stuff: sunbeams, soft beds, gentle pets, and most importantly…treats! 🐟 With a little patience and a calm environment, this boy could absolutely bloom into quirky, low-key house kitty who loves life alongside his humans—on his own terms, of course.Pharaoh tends to keep a watchful eye on his surroundings, but he’s the first to come in for snacks. Hi… I’m Bugs Bunny 🐰🐾I’m a sweet grey and white kitty, about 2 years old and weighing around 9 pounds. I may look a little shy at first, but there’s a gentle and charming little guy inside me who’s just waiting for the right home to help him bloom. 🤍 My life didn’t start out very easy. I was one of 43 cats rescued from a hoarding situation, and for most of my early life I lived in a small indoor cage. Because of that, I’m still learning about all the wonderful things the world has to offer — like having a whole house to explore, soft beds to nap on, and toys to chase. Every day I’m figuring out how to be a cat, and it’s a pretty big adventure. In my previous home, I was picked on by some of the other cats, and I have a little scar on the back of my neck where the fur doesn’t grow back. It’s just a reminder of where I came from — but it doesn’t stop me from moving forward and hoping for a kinder future. 💙I have a very gentle nature and do great with people who have special needs, and I get along well with other cats. I haven’t been tested with younger children yet, but because I’m such a calm and sweet boy, I would likely do well with kids who are gentle and respectful. I tend to feel safest when I have a low, cozy hidey hole where I can tuck myself in and quietly watch the world around me. I’m still learning to fully accept affection and don’t quite seek it out yet, and being held isn’t my favorite thing right now. But with a patient and loving home, the shelter staff believe I will slowly blossom and let my true personality shine. 🌼One thing I already know I love? Treats. Those are a great way to win my heart. 😸 I’m also a very tidy boy — I always use my litter box and never make a mess, and I’m great for nail trims too. What I need most is a calm, patient home where I can take my time learning that people can be kind and that the world can be safe. With love and understanding, I know I’ll grow into the wonderful companion I’m meant to be. Hi… I’m Daffy Duck 🖤🐾I’m a solid black kitty, about a year old, with one beautiful bright green eye that always seems to be watching the world with curiosity. My other eye was injured sometime before I came to the shelter, so I’ll be blind in that eye for the rest of my life. The vet took very good care of me though — they stitched the eye closed and treated it with special drops in hopes of helping it heal instead of removing it altogether. Even with one eye, I get around just fine and still have plenty of love to give. 💚 My life didn’t start out very easy. Meet Kelso 🤍🧡This handsome fellow is a mostly white kitty with soft buff-orange patches and a whole lot of heart. He’s about 3 years old, and while life gave him a rough start, Kelso has handled it with incredible resilience and charm. Kelso once lived as a street kitty, cared for by a few kindhearted ladies who made sure he never went hungry. When he was safely caught in a live trap, one very compassionate woman noticed he had several wounds and reached out to our shelter for help. It turned out Kelso had developed multiple abscesses from bite wounds caused by other territorial stray cats. Thankfully, we got him to the vet just in time, and he’s now healing beautifully and feeling so much better. 💕🐾Despite everything he’s been through, Kelso is an absolute sweetheart. He’s affectionate, loving, and more than happy to soak up all the pets you’re willing to give. Chin scratches are a favorite, and treats are a very quick way to his heart. 😻Kelso is also a phenomenal mouser and takes his patrol duties very seriously—always alert, always watching, and proud to protect his space. With his gentle nature and loving personality, Kelso is ready to leave his tough past behind and enjoy the safety, comfort, and affection of a forever home where he can truly thrive.
