Not good with cats, House-trained, Declawed,
Story
Charcoal is a 12-year-old sweetheart who recently returned to the shelter through no fault of his own when his beloved owner could no longer care for him. This big, beautiful boy is front-paw declawed, making him especially suited for an indoor-only lifestyle. With his gorgeous green eyes and sleek all-black coat, Charcoal is truly stunning. But it’s his personality that wins hearts—he’s outgoing, friendly, and endlessly eager for petting. He loves attention and will happily soak up all the affection you can give. Could Charcoal be the one to fill your home with love? Come meet this gentle giant and see why everyone falls for him!You can apply on line at www.hsvawl.org by completing the Adoption Application on the home page.December 10, 2025, 5:21 am

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Tantrum, Jr. is a big personality in a very small body. His small stature may be because of poor pre-natal care or maybe just genetics. But what T.J. doesn't have in physical presence, he makes up for in personality. T.J. stays busy running around until you scoop him up and hold him. Then he turns on his purring machine and all investigations come to a halt. Tantrum, Jr. deserves only the best because he gives his best. Do you have what it takes to welcome this youngster into your home?

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Playful and affectionate with a gentle heart. He loves cozy cuddles but also has bursts of energetic play — one minute he’s curled up purring in your lap, the next he’s leaping after a toy. He’s calm, enjoys soft petting, and often kneads a comfy blanket before drifting off. He is good with adults, patient children who respect pets, and other friendly cats. He is looking for a home with daily engagement — brief play sessions, several comfy resting spots, and vertical space or toys to explore (feather wands, crinkle toys, and tunnels are top picks). His ideal adopter is someone who wants a loving, fun companion — someone who appreciates both mellow lap time and spirited play.
