Story
Momo is a very cuddly fluffy cat that loves people and snuggling up close. Loves being able to be let outside but will also spend days burrowing under blankets and napping. She is not the best with other animals, she thrives in an environment where she’s the only feline. When around dogs she mostly goes and hides and doesn’t like being around them too much. She likes to be the queen of the castle. She’s relatively quiet, unless you get home after being away for a few hours, she likes to have little chats when you get home. She’s all types of grey with yellow eyes, and is very fluffy and loves frequent brushes. I adopted Momo from my friend because she wasn’t getting along with another animals in the house. Momo is 7 years old had her for 5 years now and it’s been wonderful. I just moved into a place with my partner and their animals. Momo unfortunately has been struggling to get along with them so that’s the cause for finding a single pet house hold she can thrive in!

Story
Meet Nia! Nia is a sweet senior girl looking for a new home! Her love languages are scratches and cuddles. During her stay with us she has had a copious amount of attention from volunteers and staff, loving every minute of it. In her off time, Nia enjoys lounging in the sun and equally loves to watch birds out the window. If you're searching for a mellow companion who believes everything is better together, you have found your match!**Ideal Home:**- quiet home- Has lived peacefully with dogs & cats- Lots of spare time to show her affection**Health:**Nia has been diagnosed with Hyperesthesia Syndrome; a condition that makes her lower back sensitive to touch. Mostly likely a ongoing condition. Twice daily Gabapentin sprinkled on food helps. Nia will need annual vet checks and her person to be aware of any pain at snuggle time. **Enrichment:**Nia would love access to a window to perch and watch the birds. **Veterinary Care:** Routine check-ups are essential for Nia's well-being. **Safety First:**-All cats should be kept indoors for their own safety and to ensure a longer life. **Quality Nutrition:**Nia is a healthy eater while on her medication. A balanced diet is crucial for Nia to stay healthy. Primary Color: Tortoiseshell Secondary Color: Tortoiseshell Weight: 5.34 Age: 9yrs 1mths 3wks

Meet baby prunes! This lovable mini cat came to us from a large intake of sick cats, and ever since arriving baby prunes has been a pint sized bucket of snuggles! Baby prunes absolutely loves to give and receive any sort of affection, therefore would do amazing in a home with lots of attention to go around! With her tiny size also comes a teeny tiny little meow. Sometimes she opens her mouth and no noise even comes out, or a little bird chirp escapes her tiny head. And just look at those beautiful lagoon's of eyes she's got! They compliment her big ears and even bigger heart! Baby prunes seems to have been a mother a few times in the past, and has co-existed with plenty of other cats, therefore she is a very social butterfly. She's on her way for some dental work soon (it will be done before she's adopted) but other than that she is in great health and ready to spend her golden years chirping away in your windowsill, or on your lap!If you're looking for a "velcro-cat" who isn't afraid to show you her soft side, and give you teeny tiny little kisses, Come meet baby prunes and/or put in an application today!!https://spca.bc.ca/survey/cat-adoption-application-east-kootenay/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 2.79 Age: 8yrs 1mths 0wks
