Story
Meet Berlin! This beautiful girl is looking for a patient and loving forever home. She is very shy and sensitive at first and is still learning that people can be trusted. New environments and new faces can feel overwhelming for her, but with time, kindness, and a calm approach, she slowly comes out of her shell. She would do best with someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her move at her own pace. What she does love is the company of other cats. She finds comfort and confidence in her cat friends and would thrive in a home with a friendly, gentle feline companion. If Berlin sounds like the right fit for your home, please fill in an application below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Weight: 2.86 Age: 0yrs 6mths 1wks

Story
Meet Cookie:This confident and outgoing gal came to us through no fault of her own when her previous family was unable to care for her anymore. Cookie is a spunky gal with a big personality; she loves being around people and enjoys befriending dogs but absolutely despises members of her own species so requests that she is the only cat in her forever home. Cookie was previously an indoor/outdoor girly so would likely appreciate being harness trained so that she can join you on your adventures. If you're looking for a charming and outgoing kitty to join your home, please consider Cookie! Walk-ins are prioritized. We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays). In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/♥ Primary Color: Torbie Weight: 4.2 Age: 3yrs 6mths 0wks

Story
Thaddeus is a perfect little house panther who is ready to find his forever family. With his lustrous jet-black coat and piercing golden eyes, he has a striking presence that’s impossible to ignore. But behind his bold looks is a gentle soul who simply wants to love and be loved. This sweet boy does wonderfully with other pets, feline or canine, and gets along beautifully with children of all ages. Thaddeus is as easygoing as he is affectionate, making him a wonderful fit for just about any household. He’s also a playful spirit, whether it’s chasing toys from one side of the room to the other or leaping after a feather wand, he’ll keep his family entertained with his antics. Once playtime winds down, he's happiest soaking up attention and snuggles from his people. Handsome, gentle, and affectionate, Thor is the total package. He’s ready to bring joy, fun, and endless love to the lucky family who welcomes him home.

Story
We would like to introduce you to Ms. Maisel. (NOTE: She is mostly white but has beautiful brown tabby markings as well, particularly on her tail.) This STUNNING 10 year old girl came into our care in VERY rough shape just about a month ago, surrendered to us by her caretaker. She was filthy, matted, grossly overweight, and had infections on her 'rear' from matted fur and not being able to clean herself. And she had a mass on the side of her head. Ms. Maisel had lived her whole life as an outdoor property cat. It is clear to us that she aspires to a different life. Special thanks to Boodie who has spent hours brushing and combing Ms. Maisel's coat to get it to the lovely condition it is in now. We have also been feeding Maisel a proper diet and have been pleased to see her slowly start to regain her figure. Ms Maisel is a beautiful cat and she knows it. She enjoys sitting on a lap and being stroked. She is a very sweet natured lady with excellent manners. She has been examined by our veterinarian, treated for fleas and parasites, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), and screened for FIV / FeLV (negative results). If you would like to learn more about Ms. Maisel, or set up an appointment to meet her, please reach out: 236-508-2287 / info@catsofsaltspring.com This beautiful angel deserves the pampered life to which she has become accustomed in her foster home!
