Story
he has a special needs condition that we’ve been trying to manage but we're at the point where we know it's time to give up because we just can't provide the kind of care and time he truly needs to have a good quality of life. After talking to several vets his diagnosis seems to be a congenital birth defect He has little to no tone in his anal sphincter, resulting in fecal incontinence and his inability to use the litter box consistently. He requires anywhere between 2-4 oral medications every 8 hours which fluctuates depending on how well his condition is doing. Due to his hygiene needs and tendency to Due to his hygiene needs and tendency to groom excessively, he requires consistent supervision or must wear a cone. Our vet has advised that any damage and/or infection to his inner sphincter could be fatal for him which is why the cone is required while unsupervised. He is a very very sweet kitty who loves people and attention but simply needs more care than a typical family can give.

Story
At the start of the new year, we welcomed 10 senior cats who desperately needed a soft place to land. These sweet seniors are undersocialized and frightened, and they need patient, loving homes where they can finally feel safe. They all came from the same home and would likely adjust more easily with another feline companion by their side. If you have an open spot on your couch and room in your heart, please consider helping one of these cats spend their golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and love! My name is Lovebug, but I haven't shown my softer side to staff yet. I'm a spicy kind of gal right now but I think with time, patience, socialization, and getting out of this place I could live up to my name. I'm an old girl and just need a lot of time and love.

Story
Fallon is a 9-year-old tortie with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Found as a friendly stray, she quickly won over the shelter staff with her affectionate nature and laid-back charm. Fallon loves attention, enjoys being brushed, and is always happy to spend her days lounging in a cozy spot or soaking up the sun by a window. She’s the perfect match for anyone looking for an easy-going, low-maintenance companion. Fallon gets along well with other cats and has also done great with children, making her a wonderful addition to a variety of home types. Fallon does have diabetes, but it’s well-managed with a once-a-day oral medication that she takes without any trouble. With her mellow demeanor, loving personality, and adaptable nature, Fallon is ready to settle into her forever home. Come meet this sweet girl - you might just find the perfect companion you’ve been looking for!
