Story
Please contact Natalie (natalie.dubel@ocfl.net) for more information about this pet.Meet Bobcat! This big old baby had a severe eye infection when he first arrived at Orange County Animal Services from a hoarding situation.  His eye was so swollen that he needed an emergency enucleation at only 7 weeks of age.   After surgery Bobcat had a tough recovery with complications at his suture site and continued infection.  As a kitten, this little ball of energy didn’t care about recovery and just wanted to play play play.  Eventually he was healed enough to go up for adoption through the shelter but he was returned after a few days when the infection resurfaced and opened his suture site once again. Bobcat went back into foster care for another extended recovery.  This time with antibiotics targeted to his specific type of infection and the tougher immune system of an older kitten, he was finally able to fully heal and beat the infection . He has now been completely cleared for adoption and is ready to go to his forever home.  Bobcat is super energetic and playful.  Having been separated from his mom and littermate at such a young age, he now craves interaction with other cats.  He would do well in a home with at least one other energetic cat to play with.  Bobcat is a sweet and tolerant kitty who is used to being handled and is no stranger to hardship.  Inquire today if you’d like to know more about this sweet little dude. Story
Please contact Natalie (natalie.dubel@ocfl.net) for more information about this pet.Meet Autumn & Harvest These devoted siblings are all energy and will bounce around the room like popcorn.  They love to play and parkour around together making the most of whatever space they’re exploring. They are super sweet and used to being handled.  They are both very loud, steady purrers, and if you stick your head between them, you can experience surround sound purrs —a highly recommended experience.   Above all, these babies love being together so their adopter will need to be ready to take them both in and provide a loving home to both.  Adoption is $50 and includes their neuter surgery, initial vaccines, rabies and microchip and we offer BOGO so you can keep brother and sister together at no extra cost.   They will absolutely return the favor by being sweet, gentle friends who also provide hours of adorable entertainment.  To meet this amazing pair, please email their foster mom at: natalie.dubel@ocfl.net to arrange a meet Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 2, 2026, 9:51 pm

Story
Please contact Elizabeth (eovasquez18@icloud.com) for more information about this pet.Lap cat of your dreamsPoppy (formerly Pinky) is a 3 year old angel in cat form. She is cautious at first but melts like butter the minute you pet her. She is a soft, gentle giant with a playful side, making her the perfect cat for a first time cat owner or for a family with respectful children. Poppy likes to spend her time lounging at the top of a cat tree, snuggling up next to you or picking up shifts at the biscuit factory. She would do very well with a social, friendly cat (she plays with my boy Jupiter) or with a kitten (she may be 3 years old but she can run and jump like a kitten).    Poppy's adoption fee is $50 - she is spayed, microchipped, negative for FeLV, and has all of her initial vaccines. Story
Please contact Julianne (jnmarrie@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Meet Opal! After raising her babies and watching them all get adopted, while she was sadly overlooked, this sweet girl is looking for her happy ending. Opal LOVES to be pet and scratched, especially around her ears/head and just above her tail. She is a shy gal, but she is always gentle and she also LOVES other cats. Her foster mom introduced her to her resident cats and she immediately approached them for nuzzles and head butts. She is FIV+, but this is truly nothing to fear. She will live a full life and, aside from being aware that she has a weaker immune system, her diagnosis does not require special medical attention. FIV is most often transmitted through a deep puncture wound from an infected cat. Therefore, cats who test positive for FIV CAN live with FIV-negative cats with minimal risk of transmission as long as they do not fight to the point of biting. For more information, please visit https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/. Opal is a gentle girl who loves the company of other cats and kittens, so she will be a wonderful addition in a quiet home that can give her time to open up and feel safe with them. Her adoption fee is $50 - she is spayed, microchipped, negative for FeLV, and has all of her initial vaccines. Story
Please contact Sabine (sabine.ocas.foster@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Meet Kate! She and her brother Max found themselves at the local shelter - absolutely terrified! They were placed into the foster care program to help them overcome their fear.  Under the watchful eye of the resident cat, both kittens came out of their shell.  While they've made great progress over the last 4 weeks, they are still a bit skittish and would need a very patient adopter to work with them.  Both are play and food motivated! They are a bonded pair and we would like to see them get adopted together.  She and her brother will be available for adoption on 01/16. Their adoption fee (BOGO!) is $50 and it includes the neuter surgery, all of the initial kitten vaccinations, rabies vaccine, a microchip and Feline Leukemia/FIV testing. If you have any questions about Kate and her brother Max, or would like to meet them, please contact their foster parent Sabine at Sabine.OCAS.foster@gmail.com  Please include some details about your household where they would be living, so we can make sure that it is a good fit.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 26, 2026, 7:26 am
