Story
Sam is such a loving and perfect boy who is still waiting to find his second chance. Sam is 13 years young and until recently had a home and a dad. His dad had been in and out of the hospital and sadly passed away. This was hard enough on Sam, but then the landlord wanted to rent his home so he put Sam outside ☹️ Sam came to us scared and confused. He had not lived with other animals before and we are sure it was a big culture shock to him…but he handled it all in stride ❤️ Sam has had full senior bloodwork, X-rays, and an ultrasound and has a great bill of health! He has some disc degeneration and arthritis which is normal for his age. He got a shot of solensia and has been running and jumping around much better. (This is a monthly shot from the vet). Sam would love to have a person or family of his own again. He loves being held, eats well, and even plays with toys now! Story
Yoshi’s last two babies hit their growth spurt and will be getting spayed and neutered on Monday. They will be ready to go home sweet home early next week 🏡 Baby Peach and Koopa Troopa were born on March 24 and have known love every day of their lives 🤍 They are loving and curious and will follow you around. Once they get to know you, they will climb on your lap and want all your attention! ⭐️ We do ask that kittens go in pairs unless you have another kitten or young cat at home. You can research single kitten syndrome and adopting kittens in pairs to learn why ⭐️ These two are very close and we’d love to see them adopted as a pair 🤍 To apply to adopt, please fill out our application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRF/Cat All cats will go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and tested for FIV and feline leukemia.

Story
We would like to introduce the handsome Chaney. This beautiful boy is just a year old and was trapped outside earlier this year. He had a bad case of pillow foot and was doing well. He wasn’t sure if he liked people, but was not healthy enough to put back outside. He also needed months of medication to heal his foot. Chaney took his medicine and one day decided he likes people. That like turned to love and he’s an absolutely loveable boy now. You can carry him around like a baby and he won’t complain! Chaney’s pillow foot has healed up, but he has extreme weakness in that leg. The leg seems to collapse when he walks, but he can jump and climb and run just fine. Last week, Chaney was struggling to pee and it turns out he was blocked. His foster rushed him to the emergency vet and they were thankfully able to unblock him without surgery. He has to eat canned urinary food now. At his follow up appointment, it was also discovered that Chaney is diabetic 😭 This guy can’t catch a break! He is on twice daily insulin now and gets that after he eats his two daily meals of canned urinary food. To say Chaney is an investment cat might be an understatement - but he is so worth it 😻🥹 This poor cat never would have made it outside and deserves to be healthy, loved, and safe inside.

Story
We are happy to introduce the super loving Lily 🩷 Lily is about a year old and was part of a recent TNR effort. Once we met her, it was very clear she is way too friendly to go back outside and live on her own. Lily is hard to get a picture of because she just wants to be touching a person. She purrs, loves being held, and even gives kisses 😘 Lily is currently being fostered with another cat and has no issues getting along. If you want a cat who will follow you around, be obsessed with you, and give you all their love - Lily just might be the one for you! 💕 (Her nose got scratched up when she was trapped, but it is healing, and will soon be just a memory.)
