Story
How's this for a bio?   Meet Turtle! Age: 11 months Adoption Fee: $85 (includes spay, microchip & registration, vaccines, and deworming) Turtle’s story started with a little adventure! A kind Good Samaritan brought her to a local pet ER, but this clever girl made a break for it in the parking lot. Thankfully, her explorer days were short-lived — the very next day she decided rescue life wasn’t so bad after all and allowed herself to be safely caught. Turtle is a gentle, shy soul who’s still learning to trust her surroundings. She’s done great with her litter box and has perfect manners. While she hasn’t “chosen violence,” she definitely prefers her own space and would thrive in a quiet home with no more than one other calm cat (or none at all). Turtle would do best with older children who can respect her boundaries and let her come around at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality starts to shine through — she just needs someone patient who will give her the time and love she deserves. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who will appreciate a peaceful, cozy home, Turtle may be your perfect match. Turtle comes spayed, microchipped (including registration), dewormed, and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $85.  To be considered to adopt Turtle, please apply today! ##2568482##

Story
Meet Shrimpy! Estimated DOB: 11/1/2025 Shrimpy is a sweet and playful girl looking for her forever humans! This adorable kitten is an absolute love bug who warms up to people right away. She lives for butt rubs and behind-the-ear scratches and will happily reward you with constant purrs. While she’s still getting used to being picked up, her affectionate personality more than makes up for it. Shrimpy has lots of playful kitten energy and loves chasing tiny toys — and sometimes fingers too (watch out for the playful nibbles!). Shrimpy originally came to us from a feral colony with an abscess, but after getting the care she needed she has absolutely blossomed into a loving, happy kitten. She can be a little selective with feline friends, so any resident cats would need a slow and proper introduction. It’s unknown how she does with dogs or children, but with respectful introductions and gentle handling, she should do just fine. Shrimpy comes: • Spayed • Vaccinated • Dewormed • Microchipped (with registration included) Adoption Fee: $150 If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate kitten who will keep you smiling and purring right along with her, Shrimpy might be your girl! To be considered to adopt, the first step is an application! ##2685878##

Story
Smokey is ready for adoption!! This ultra handsome and debonair guy is ready to bring his larger than life personality into your home! Smokey joined The POUNCE Alliance after he was found wandering the streets in late November, at a time when the shelters were full and unable to bring him in.  He was microchipped, but sadly an owner never came forward for him.  A friend of Smokey’s finders took him in as he wasn’t getting along with the male cats in their home. They reached out to us and agreed to foster Smokey through POUNCE. It was clear that he was older and needed a full exam and work up. After he received care, we found out Smokey was in need of a dental care and was suffering from urinary crystals. After coming to The POUNCE Alliance, Smokey received necessary medical treatment for his urinary crystals by being put on a prescription diet, and received a dental to clean his teeth and remove ones that required extraction.  There was 10 teeth that needed extracted. He has been living in the loving home of his foster where he has been thriving and enjoying a life of comfort and care.  Smokey is a wonderful cat with a loving and engaging personality.  He absolutely loves his people, will enjoy snuggling up with you on your lap - especially if you have a cozy blanket for him to rest on - and sleeping next to you at night in your bed. Although Smokey is quiet at night, during the day he loves to carry on conversations with the humans around him and  will be your constant companion, following you from room to room.  He is very well mannered, respectful of countertops, doors, and has impeccable litter box manners. Smokey is confident and independent, enjoys head rubs but may be selective about being  petted on his tummy and body. He prefers to have human company during the day rather than be left alone for long periods of time, and will love to have a window to look out of during the day.  Smokey will want to have a cat tree or other things to satisfy his feline need to scratch. A few things to keep in mind as you consider Smokey for your companion: He will do best as the only animal in the home because he may not get along well with either cats or dogs. He has not done well in the past with other male cats, we don’t know how he would do with a female. He currently lives with two small dogs, but does get upset when they get in his bubble and will chase them off. For this reason, it’s likely ideal for him to find a home as the only pet or with one calm animal that keeps to themselves and doesn’t push his boundaries.  Due to his history of urinary crystals, Smokey will require being permanently on a prescription urinary diet.  He is currently eating Hill’s Prescription Diet C/D. As follow ups to his extractions upon intake, he will need annual exams to ensure that his mouth remains healthy, as any cat does!  If you are looking for a loving, engaging kitty companion who will be your snuggle buddy and constant side kick, then Smokey is the cat for you!   Transport is available to approved adopters throughout the PNW! If you are interested in adopting, please apply today!  ##2339025##

Story
Meet Hashbrown Hashbrown came to us as a community cat after developing a burst abscess on his head from life on the streets. When his foster reached out asking if we could help him, it was pretty clear that Hashbrown was more than ready to retire from street life and trade alleyways for couches, snacks, and cuddles. Estimated to be around 2 years old, Hashbrown is a super chill, easygoing guy whose fighting days are officially behind him. These days, his favorite hobbies include soaking up human attention, enjoying a good snack, and curling up for cuddles. He’s the kind of cat that settles in quickly and just wants to be loved. Hashbrown does well with other cats, but he would prefer a home without dogs. We haven’t had him around children yet, but based on his laid-back and affectionate personality, we think he would likely do great with respectful kids. Hashbrown comes neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped including registration. Adoption fee: $85 If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion who is ready to leave his rough past behind and fully embrace indoor retirement life, Hashbrown may be your perfect match To be considered to adopt this handsome man, apply today! ##2732999##
