Story
This is Ollie!!! He is a shorthair grey tabby just like his father. Extremely playful, social, and always hungry! He will need to be vaccinated at 10-12 weeks, and neutered at 6 months old! I am NOT a breeder, I have a couple of stray cats that live outside our house that we have taken care of over the last year. One of them trusted us enough to give birth in our garage so we’ve been helping her take care of the kittens. We brought them inside at almost 6 weeks old to avoid them wandering into the roads and getting hit by cars, etc as we live close to the road. we were able to find homes for his two sisters and his brother, but we haven’t had any luck finding a home for this little man. Please consider welcoming him into your family!!

Story
Jinx is a super lovey & well behaved cat. She loves to be indoor and outdoor. 100% litter box trained. She does well with other cats & dogs & has always done well with my nieces & nephews (younger). Jinx would be best in a home that does not live near a busy road or a lot of traffic as she loves to be both inside & outside. I took her in as a stray back in 2019 and she was already fully grown so I’m guessing she is about 8 or 9 years old.

Story
This sweet girl was dropped off outside at my work, so I took her in to help her out. We took her to a vet and got her dewormed and shots up to date and she’s been great and is much healthier, but she doesn’t get along with our dog. We have a toddler that she plays with and loves so she’s a sweetie but I need the extra room she’s been staying in since we have a baby coming in a few months. She is not fixed as that was on our to do list but haven’t been able to do yet. She’s playful and sweet but also like her alone time and would be better suited with a family that has no dogs or more experience with cats.

Story
Hi, my name is Freckles and I'm about 4 1/2 years old.  I was a stray and rescued by a BCHS volunteer, and brought to Bond County Humane Society to find a loving permanent home. I am playful and like to chase bouncy balls. I like to get to know you before I want to be petted.  Of course, this is all on my terms.  I determine when and how long you can pet me.  I love to explore and look in all the nooks and crannies around the shelter. I am considered Special Needs for a couple reasons.  First, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  FIV is comparable to AIDS in people. It is transmitted to other cats by scratching or biting. There is not a vaccine available to provide immunity to other cats so I need to be the only cat in the household or live with other FIV positive cats. I can have a normal life expectancy of a cat. The most important things for me are a low stress environment, good quality food and regular veterinarian care.  Second, I was also diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) which requires me to have a special diet.  It is extremely important for me to stay healthy.  I get along well with the other cats who have been in the FIV room at the shelter.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee has been waived.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Silky and I'm about 1 year old.  My siblings and I were born to a feral mom and surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so we can find loving furever homes. I am a lovely long haired buff and white young adult cat.  I enjoy being picked up and petted. I play with all the toys! I love sitting on the cat tree and looking out the window. I have been diagnosed with Juvenile Gingivitis so I have to eat special food. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $65. If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Whiskers and I'm about 8 1/2 months old. I was found as a stray and surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so I can find a new loving home. My white and grey fur is very handsome. I get along well with the other cats in my room and enjoy a little wrestling match too. I am a little shy, but soon I will come to you to be picked up and petted. I like to play with little spring cat toys! If you pick me up and pet me, you may notice a bone which seems to be sticking out at the bottom of my ribs. It is part of the xiphoid process of the sternum which is broken. I have been examined by a veterinarian and x-rayed. It was determined that the fragment is not threatening internal organs or causing any pain and doesn't need any treatment. I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $100.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.June 26, 2026, 4:51 pm
