Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Zoey is about 9 years old. She was already spayed and front declawed when I got her. She doesn’t seem to get along with other cats very well. I can tell she has the potential to be super sweet, but I think she is stressed out here. I believe she needs a relatively quiet home.

Story
Frank is a good cat, he likes lots of pets and belly rubs. He’s a big boy too, weighs 13 lbs last time he was checked at the vet. Is good with kids, I have a 3.5 year old that he gets along with well. Sharpens his claws a lot on the post. We are exhibiting some bad allergies and I cannot continue to combat all these issues.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact. Rodger is about 3 years old as of February 2024.   Rodger was on our radar for a few weeks as we tried to confine him for a visible injury to his leg. Very street smart, he ignored all the attempts to lure him into a trap including sardines! Why would he? He was being fed at several homes each day; each one reporting that he was showing up very hungry! Smart boy! We were concerned when he disappeared during the arctic storm in January of 2024, nd relieved to find a caring community member had brought him into their home. He's been a tough one to agree to inside living, but he’s done it! He's sweet as can be, getting along with the other cats, and meek and mild! He tested positive for FIV, but that’s no reason for concern. He will lead a normal, healthy life and is not aggressive to the other cats. He’s very expressive and emotional! Rodger deserves safety, peace and love. He will need time and patience to adjust to his new home including a segregated area where he can learn to be brave and trust at his pace. Adopt him today! Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) | Cornell University College of Veterinary MedicineVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. If you are a senior (65 years or older) you can adopt any of our senior cats (7 years or older) for only $10! Please mention this special when applying. We also have a kitten special - adopt 2 available kittens (1 year & under) for $125 While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat.  Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact. Edith is about 9 years old as of December 2023.  Edith was adopted as a kitten and returned to our rescue at 9 years old through no fault of her own.  Out of 4 cats in the home, she was asked to leave and not a bid of it made sense!  We adopted her out a few months after her initial return to an elderly lady who had recently lost her baby of 15 years.  The adoption was contingent upon the granddaughter's promise to care for Edith in the event that Grandma could not.  Guess what?  That promise was not honored and Edith is now back with us.  While we are happy she is safe here, she needs stability and love without being bounced around.  Imagine losing all you knew and had after 9 years only to have a few months of love and stability before becoming confused again!  Edith is a beautiful girl, she's shy and will need a home with patience who will give her time to adjust from all she has experienced.  She has lived with other cats and will make a fine addition to the right home.  Adopt her today!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact. Rocky is about 1 year old as of April, 2024.  He is the sweetest boy, timid at first, but once he knows you won't hurt him, he is all about pets, scratches and playing with the wand toy!  He is a complete pushover for his wet food and anyone can bond with him that will give him time to adjust and be brave.  Rocky showed up at a lady's home with visible wounds.  Fortunately, he was helped and received medical treatment along with neuter, rabies, vaccinations, etc.  Unfortunately, his visible wounds could be repaired but he tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FELV) and that, unfortunately, can not be totally "fixed"  Other than his tattered ear, which was repaired with sutures, Rocky shows no visible signs of prior injury or illness.  He leads a totally normal life and is healthy!   FELV cats in our care before have lived up to 8 years and stories show that they can live many more.  They do require a home with only FELV positive cats/no other cats since the virus spreads between felines only easily.  Our no kill rescue would never euthanize a healthy boy like Rocky; he deserves life and a chance.  Adopt him today.  Approved applications will be contacted within 48 hours.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV.
