Story
We got Pumpkin as a kitten from our local animal shelter in 2022. We wanted a friend for our cat, Tiny, after our other cat Lucy went missing. When she joined our family, we had two dogs, a cat, and a newborn baby. She instantly got along with the humans and other animals in the house. This is still the case at a four-year-old cat. She is an indoor-outdoor cat -- she loves exploring but also appreciates affection. Pumpkin is the perfect cat to join a large lively family, but also can appreciate a calm, chill environment. If you are looking for a dog, cat, and kid/baby friendly cat, then she's your girl! If you're looking for an outdoor barn cat, then she'd be fantastic for that lifestyle too! The only reason we are rehoming her is because two toddlers later, we struggle to give her the affection and attention she deserves. We hate to make this choice, but are optimistic that we can find a loving home for her.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Atlas is a cautious young boy--he is a lover at heart! Once you get past his defense mechanisms, he is a little purr machine! Squeeze up treats will show him that you are to be trusted.  He experienced scary things on his own, and he wants to make sure that he is in safe hands before he commits himself!  He never wants to be heartbroken. . . but once you win him over, you will have a friend for life. He would do best in a home with other animals, that could be cats or dogs. If you have dogs at home, he could also become their friend for life, because Atlas LOVES his foster’s dogs!  Would you give Atlas a chance to join a forever family?   Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!    If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.     We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.    Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.    All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:  Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus   Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)  Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)   Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment  Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions  Micro-chipping as mandated by state law Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 8:40 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Twist is a sweet, laid-back tabby-and-white boy who’s happiest just hanging out and bringing mellow to the vibe. He came from a dangerous outdoor situation, but has settled beautifully into indoor life. He likes soft toys, would love window watching, and he enjoys curling up in warm spots.  Twist is playful but not demanding.  He would like a kitty friend in his new home, maybe his brother, Tango, or another of our adoptable cats or kittens! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yogi is a sweet young boy, trying to get by stealing picnic baskets until we found him and intervened!  He is still learning about being safe indoors, but he is progressing quickly.  He's very young and moldable, and these orange boys tend to overlook any concerns they once faced for the treats and affection that humans have to offer!  Apply to meet Yogi and see if you would like your home to be his Jellystone. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We are posting Roxy for the people who found her and kindly took her in.  They adore Roxy, but because they could not make peace between Roxy and their pre-existing cat, they feel it's in the best interest of all to find a good home for Roxy!  Roxy does well at our building with other cats, so it seems like it was just a personality clash.  These girls were both strays and may have felt insecure about resources.  This is the finder's description of Roxy!   Around Christmas 2024 a thin skittish black cat, apparently a stray, was living under our sun porch. We gave her food but initially we could not approach her. We live-trapped her and moved her into a room in our basement, where she was soon rubbing our legs, talking to us, and soliciting pets. We felt we should try to find this special cat’s previous home. We advertised and knocked on doors without success. In the process of trying to return this cat to her home, we learned that a black cat had been living as a stray in the neighborhood.   We named this cat Roxy. We have found her to be affectionate, intelligent, playful, and quite vocal. She loves treats but does not like to have her tummy rubbed. She loves being petted but is not yet a lap cat. She is still somewhat skeptical of new humans, probably a result of having lived as a stray. She has shiny black fur, black whiskers, black nose, black toe beans, golden yellow eyes, and is quite tall. A web search revealed she is probably a fancy breed known as “Bombay.” She has two small patches of white hair on her chest and belly. She seems to be quite young, so these may also become black. In January a veterinarian examined Roxy and found her to be spayed and healthy. She was given shots and a chip. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Damar is a curious young man, full of fun!  He brightens the home of his loving foster every day.  Damar has grown up with his foster parents, and with his sister Kes by his side.  These two siblings need a chance at a forever home together!  They rely on each other for comfort and stability, though Damar is the more outgoing of the two.  These kitties feel comfortable with their foster parents, will gratefully accept pets with purrs, and are even allowing patient guests to socialize with them.  They just need security!  Kitties like this often form the deepest bonds with their adopters, because they know this is the person they can truly trust with everything.  Would you give Damar and Kes a chance to bond with you?   Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!   If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.    We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.   Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt!
