Story

My father has a total of 3 cats that were placed on his doorstep when they were kittens, so him and my stepmother took them in and kept them. The cats are about 3 years old I would say and have ONLY lived in doors. They live in Indiana but last July my stepmother passed away and now my father is moving back to California to live with me. I am allergic to cat hair and the dandruff so we cannot keep them in my home. We tried to rehome them with family, but no one wants a cat. They are nice looking and are super sweet we just can't keep them and my father can no longer take care of all of them alone. They wilk be in California and available on 06/17/2026. Please help!!

Story

Mikey showed up on my back deck during the winter. More friendly than most strays, I went ahead and got him neutered, vaxed and treated for parasites. He is a confident cat, very comfortable with humans. He has followed me around the block as I take my evening walk, which is unusual for a cat. He hangs out in the yard as I work in the garden - he is a garden cat. He climbs the crabapple tree in the garden - chases squirrels and birds, protects the yard. He loves catnip plants and catnip spray on toys. Not a finicky eater, he eats both kibble and canned foods, particularly Nutro chicken with rice and Fancy Feast chunky chicken and chopped grill feast. House-trained, uses a tall scratch post and litter box. The only drawback is that he is play aggressive with my other male cat. They get along well outside, but Mikey is the dominant male. So he needs his own home! He wants to live with humans - does not want to be in an outdoor cat colony.
