Story
Wilma and Jeepers are a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Due to no fault of their own I’ve decided to rehome my 2 one year old cats Jeepers and Wilma. I adopted them as a bonded pair back in September from the shelter and unfortunately my service dog is allergic to them. They MUST GO TOGETHER! I’m offering all of their current belongings with them unless it’s not wanted. (Includes cat trees, toys, litter boxes, litter, bowls, food) I am not in a rush to get them out and I love them very dearly so I will be picky as to where they end up. I just want to make sure I can find the best fit for my babies. Neither scratch on furniture. We also have things for them to scratch instead though. Both are: -indoor only -kid friendly -multi dog friendly - litterbox trained -microchipped -spayed/neutered -used to wearing collars -up to date on vetting(will need annuals sometime this spring) (I am not sure how they do with other cats besides eachother) Jeepers(black and white M): He is very energetic, human friendly and loves cuddles. He likes all the people and is always interested in what you’re doing-he plays with dogs, and probably thinks he is one because he drinks out of the toilet, fetches, and licks you. Jeepers is VERY interested in the outdoors and will try and dart out an open door any chance he gets. He’s outgoing and enjoys car rides. Wilma(brown tabby F): Wilma is a bit on the shyer/quieter side and will take some time to warm up but is a total sweetie and will absolutely yap your ear off if you want to sit and cuddle. She prefers to watch the action from the doorway unless its the cat pole with the feather/ fuzzy worm on the end-then shes alllllll about being your buddy. She is VEEEEERY food motivated, sitting in the sun and watching birds out the window. If you are interested in Jeepers and Wilma please text: 812-606-2113 or email: anna.barnes.1272@gmail.com. ***Please contact the owner directly***

Story
We saved this precious girls life. She was rescued and could barely breathe. Her rescuers reached out to us, they had no money and needed help. This cat has been through it all! She had pyometra, severe stomatitus, and was breathing through a pinhole. She has been spayed, felv/fiv tested negative, and shots. All but her fangs have been removed and as you can see she went from a cat that couldn't breathe 7 months ago to a chunky cat! Now her rescuers is moving and cant take her. We are now helping the rescuer find a home for this angel. She is soooo sweet. Just a great cat! Email purrfectfriendsforadoption@gmail.com

Story
Meet Sweetheart!   Sweetheart, came to us early December as a very small kitten. She is currently about 3 1/2 months old and now ready for her new home!  Sweetheart has spent almost all of her time with us in a foster home, as she waited to be big enough to be spayed, and have the remnants of where her eye should be in its socket cleaned out during her spay surgery. (Sweetheart had one of her eyeballs that never developed.) Instead of leaving all of that extra tissue left behind to cause issues in her future, the entire area was cleaned out and the eyelids closed up, so there is nothing more that needs to be done for that side. Sweetheart has only ever seen out of one eye and she does absolutely fantastic at life! She is a busy little girl with lots of spirit!!   Sweetheart, was around a dog and cats and her foster home, as well as younger children, and did great!   Spayed, mircochipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.  Adoption fee is $80   Interested in adopting a kitty from us?! Story
Meet Minnie! Minnie has been in our care since the beginning of January. She had been found on the side of the road and had a terrible upper respiratory infection. Both of her eyes were matted completely shut and she was severely underweight for her age. Luckily a motorist saw her and got her in to us as soon as she could for help! Minnie got over her sicknesses and got spayed and is now looking for her forever home!! Minnie did have to have one of her eyes looked at while under sedation for her spay. It just wasn't "normal" looking even after being on medication for her eyes. It turns out that the long lasting eye infection, left behind extra scar tissue. It was sucessfully removed, but a small piece will always remain at the one inner corner of her eye. It should cause no further issues down the road. Minnie did spend time in a foster home with other cats, a dog and kids. She did great with everyone! She is VERY ready to find her forever family!!   Spayed, mircochipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.  Adoption fee is $80   Interested in adopting a kitty from us?!
