Story
Banksy came to us from a less than desirable situation that maybe turned out to be a blessing in disguise. He was set to be a TNR cat in a trailer park in central Kentucky. Unfortunate the person trapping him accidentally forgot his kennel. When they went to retrieve him(not long thereafter), it was realized that Banksy had been sprayed through the side of the kennel with red spray paint. Including in his face. Fortunately, we don’t think permanent damage was caused. We got Banksy and got him into a foster home where he loves everything. People, cats, dogs, all the things. Would you want to give Banksy a second chance at life?

Story
Funny story: his surgery chart said “brown tabby bad eye” as a descriptor. Although the beginning of his life began at the worst time. Luckily some nice folks found him and siblings in a brush pile on the side of the road. Everyone was brought in and the feral phase didn’t last very long. Now he is the most loving cat one could ask for. And the best part about everything is that his “bad eye” won’t have to come out. It’s not causing any discomfort. I added the Leroy to the front of his name after someone jokingly suggested it on Facebook. So meet Leroy Brown Tabby Bad Eye(think of it as a lost version of the Jim Croce song). He may not be meaner than a junkyard dog, but he will be as loyal as one. Or something.

Story
Ray and Pheona are a bonded pair of three-year-old cats who are looking for a home together. They were originally adopted from us and have always lived indoors. Both are fully litter trained and familiar with life in a home environment.Ray and Pheona have experience living with dogs and children, but they were recently surrendered because they did not acclimate well to another cat in the home. At the shelter, they are a bit shy at first, but they are sweet, gentle companions once they feel comfortable. These two take comfort in each other and would love a calm, patient home where they can settle in together and feel safe. If you’re looking for a loving duo to welcome into your home, Ray and Pheona may be the perfect match.
