Story
Everyone meet Velvet 💜🐾 Velvet is our newest semi grown kitten (roughly 6-7 months old) and let me tell you, she is sweetness wrapped in fur. Not exaggerating. Not rescue goggles. Just facts. She is one of the gentlest, most affectionate cats we have met in a long time. She came from a fairly large colony and was heading into her first heat cycle. She is a little older than we typically intake, but we said yes because we do not need more kittens entering the world when we can help prevent it. 💜 She has been with us a little over a week and has settled in like she has always belonged here. She gets along beautifully with everyone. She is wonderful with cats, perfectly fine with dogs, and absolutely adores being picked up. She is confident, calm, and so incredibly affectionate. The kind of cat who melts right into you and stays there. If you have been looking for a steady, loving companion with a soft heart and zero drama, Velvet might just be your girl 💜 Applications will open now! Thekittencradle.org

Story
Bob & Fred are 5 year old brothers. They will turn 6 in August. For their entire lives they have been inside cats and have zero experience outside. Bob is roughly 14lbs and Fred is about 12lbs. I’m looking for somewhere that can take both of them in since they are brothers. Fred is adventurous while Bob likes to relax. Overall, both are loving and want to be by your side.
