Trixie is 7 years old. She lived with my son, his wife, and three little girls until they needed to rehome her due to allergies. She is well behaved and has not been one to get on the counter. She is healthy. She likes her home to be quiet and will hide when strangers come around. If she knows someone, she will check them out and stay out in the area. She likes to be around me and will sit on my lap for a while and then finds a comfy, soft spot close by. She likes being brushed, will eat cat grass, and a hair ball gel on a regular basis. She usually gets treats after the hair ball gel, but she is fussy on what she eats for treats.

Story
Josephine is a sweet and affectionate kitty. She is the first at the door to greet you and loves to be pet and loved on. She came to us quite sick - pneumonia, upper respiratory infection, ear infection - you name it. She's had a rough go - and then she's been battling a touch of ringworm. She's been in quarantine almost for her entire duration of time at our shelter. She's thankfully on the mend and almost ready for adoption! Josephine will be spayed soon and receive her rabies vaccine at that appointment. She is up to date on distemper and has received her latest monthly dose of flea & tick preventative and is also feline leukemia & FIV tested. She is negative. We do not know how she would do with dogs - this is something we have not tested. She doesn't seem to mind other cats. She prefers to keep to herself and observe from a quiet place however is friendly and enjoys all kinds of attention. Josephine may have had a rough start to life but we are doing everything to ensure she has the best future.
