This beautiful girl has a personality that shines just as bright. She is a lap kitty in the making. She loves to snuggle up, and adores any and all interaction with all the people she meets. Comet still enjoys playing and snuggling with her siblings and would probably love to have a feline friend in her new home. She adores people of all ages and before she goes to her new home she will have opportunities to interact with dogs, adult cats, and children making her a very well rounded girl. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! My name is Dory and I have quite the story to tell you! My foster mom saw me at a local park and at first thought I was someone’s barn cat because I walked up to her but then went on my way. However, 2 months later, my foster mom saw a photo of me pop up on Facebook because someone else found me at this same park and was seeing if I belonged to someone. This time she noticed I lost weight and had lots of ticks on me. My foster mom knew right away to come get me and start finding my forever home. I enjoyed sleeping right by the parking lot out in the open - my foster mom thinks my previous owners abandoned me right there.  At first, I am not trusting of humans and don’t want to be pet or held. I need a home that will let me settle in and adjust on my own time with little interaction so I can get used to the new smells, environment, and people. I get very scared in new situations and am not a fan of change. My foster mom has been working with me for quite awhile and my favorite thing is chin scratches and sleeping on her lap while she works from home.    I like to play, too! Check out this video of me playing with some of my toys . I don’t like loud noises or fast movements. I will do best in a calm and quiet home without any children, and with people who know and understand cat social cues and behavior. I will be shy and unsure for a while but once I warm up to new people, I just want to snuggle! I enjoy snuggling in blankets, on your lap or soaking up some sun from a window. I really love toys, especially tennis balls but I can get overstimulated with toys so please be careful of your hands because I might accidentally scratch! Dory is from a stray surrender. Lilly is truly one of a kind. She is a very smart cat. She plays peek a boo, tag, and loves her purple mouse. She comes with all kinds of toys and Platy tubes. She goes on her schedule when wanting to be held. She will greet you at the door and give you kisses. She will if allowed lay on your chest for 5 mins to 1/2 hour. She loves the top of her head kissed and will tilt her head so you can. If I wasn't sick, I wouldn't give her up for anything. She would do better with an older adult because she's been solely with me.

Gertie and her littermate Gracie are 9-year-old spayed calicos. They are exclusively indoor cats and are bonded to each other. Gertie is more social than her sister and likes to sit on your shoulder. Gracie will sneak in for affection when Gertie’s not looking. They play-fight from time to time but they’re often asleep on the same chair or bed. They both have mad parkour skills when they get the zoomies. Gracie once hit my bedroom light switch at 2am and scared me half to death. They like to hop up on the bathroom counter and drink a little bit of running water. They have a small Facebook following from their yearly antics with my nativity scene. They must stay together and be indoor cats. I’m sad to rehome them, but my life is in some upheaval right now and I can’t give them the attention (and vet care) that they deserve. I want to find a home and a person who will love them the rest of their days.
