Pennington County Humane Society  Tobie - 8‑Year‑Old Calico SweetheartTobie is a gentle, social, and wonderfully talkative calico who has spent her life as an indoor‑only companion. She's friendly with both family and visitors, enjoys snoozing on furniture, curling up with her person, or finding the warmest sunny spot in the house to nap in.She has lived harmoniously with another cat and two dogs, doing great with them and showing no signs of rough play. Tobie uses her litterbox reliably, is spayed, and is vaccinated (though her previous owner does not have the records).Her favorite pastime? Pawing at dog toys and chatting with her people — she's a talker with a big personality in a soft, sweet package.Tobie came to us after her previous owner could no longer keep her, despite caring for her for a year and ensuring she stayed safe and loved. She's ready now for a stable, loving home where she can be part of the family again.Tobie is available for direct adoption or transfer to a trusted partner. We got Kru from a barn when she was a kitty. She is 6 years old but just a small girl. She’s a shy girl and takes a little while to warm up but loves to snuggles the ones she loves. She’s is litter trained but has occasional been peeing on clothes left on our concrete basement floor. She is declawed so would be best as an inside cat. She does love her current cat sibling and dog siblings so I would assume she would get along with other animals. I actually would prefer her have some companions at her new home.

Meet our sweet girl, Dakota, looking for her forever home. She is around 3 years old and has a calm, loving personality. We found her as a kitten on a farm and took her in, and she has been an affectionate companion ever since. She absolutely loves to cuddle and is happiest curled up next to you for naps or relaxing quietly around the house. Her temperament is very gentle, relaxed, and easygoing, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm and loving cat. Her exact birthday is unknown, but we estimate she was born sometime in May. We are hoping to find her a caring home where she can continue getting all the love and cozy naps she deserves.

This is Zinnia. She is a 4 yr old female calico. She is a playful, sweet, and smart cat. We’ve had her since she was very little but unfortunately have been experiencing recent behavioral issues. Since we took Zinnia in we have adopted another cat and welcomed another child to our family; she has not been able to transition to the busier household. Zinnia is comfortable going outside and would do best in a single cat household.
