Jasper is a male cat who is 7.5 years old. He has been my cat since he was a kitten, but I am no longer able to keep him due to relocating and I cannot bring him with me. Jasper loves to sleep, playing with toys (his ball is his favorite). If he's hungry or wants out of a room, he will meow to let you know. He is litterbox trained and enjoys both wet and dry cat food. When he wants to cuddle, he will drop on the floor in front of you for attention. He'll let you know when he no longer wants to cuddle or be left alone by scratching or bitting. This is a habit I have not been able to break him of. He is very scared of loud noises and will sometimes attack when he gets too scared. Jasper also loves to be outdoors, and I am heartbroken to have to rehome him. I know he will go to a great home with a loving family or even to a farm to be a barn cat. He would probably love that.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jewel was found in Blooming Prairie, MN on an abandoned farm with several other cats.  She was brought to us in May, 2026.  This girl is a sweetheart who loves people attention.  She does fine with the other cats too.  We are guessing that Jewel was probably born sometime in 2021. Jewel has a small scar on one of her eyes which has been vet checked--it is fine, does not effect her vision and she does great. She is now spayed and current on shots.  She has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  Adoption fee is $100 and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  You must be 21 to adopt a pet from the Mower County Humane Society.  Applications are availabe at mchs.rescuegroups.org.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  Thanks.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 23, 2026, 1:19 pm

We got Kru from a barn when she was a kitty. She is 6 years old but just a small girl. She’s a shy girl and takes a little while to warm up but loves to snuggles the ones she loves. She’s is litter trained but has occasional been peeing on clothes left on our concrete basement floor. She is declawed so would be best as an inside cat. She does love her current cat sibling and dog siblings so I would assume she would get along with other animals. I actually would prefer her have some companions at her new home.
