Story
Lana is a beautiful solid white cat with unique light gray “eyebrows” that make her face truly unforgettable. She was found on the Ole Miss campus, bravely raising her five kittens in a cramped crawlspace, doing everything she could to keep them safe. Now that her kittens are grown, it’s finally Lana’s turn to be cared for and loved. Lana is incredibly affectionate with people and enjoys attention, especially once she feels secure in her environment. She thrives on human companionship but would do best as the only cat in the home, where she doesn’t have to share her space. Dogs are unknown. Lana has overcome a significant challenge—she was diagnosed with FIP, a stress-induced disease, but has been successfully treated and is now fully healed. Because of this, she needs a calm, stable home where stress is minimized so she can continue to stay healthy and happy. This resilient, loving girl is ready for her forever home—one where she can relax, feel safe, and be adored for the rest of her life.March 18, 2026, 11:18 am

Story
Red (8 years old) and Baby Boy (6 years old) are a devoted bonded pair who must be adopted together. They have spent their entire lives indoors with a caring owner who, due to surgery and a necessary move to pet-free housing, was heartbreakingly forced to surrender them. These boys are understandably shy in new environments and will need a patient, quiet home where they can adjust at their own pace. Once they feel safe, Red and Baby Boy are gentle, loving companions who enjoy the comfort of routine and each other’s company. They rely on one another for reassurance, making it essential that they stay together. Both cats are currently overweight and would greatly benefit from a healthy diet and gentle play to improve their well-being over time. They would thrive in a calm household without too much noise or activity, where their new family understands that trust takes time. In return, Red and Baby Boy will offer quiet companionship, loyalty, and the special comfort that only a bonded pair can bring.April 29, 2026, 12:06 pm

Story
Zadie is a sweet, sensitive kitten who is still learning to trust the world around her. She is shy and timid, especially in new environments, and will need a quiet, low-stress home without small children where she can feel safe and secure. Zadie does very well with other cats, and having a calm feline companion may even help boost her confidence. While she may keep her distance at first, Zadie shows her true personality in small, meaningful ways. When she feels comfortable, she will approach on her own terms and enjoy gentle pets, often responding with soft, content purring. She may quickly run off again, but each interaction is a step forward in building trust. She currently does not enjoy being held, but with patience and a consistent, loving environment, she may continue to grow more comfortable over time. Zadie is looking for a patient adopter who will appreciate her quiet nature and celebrate her progress. In the right home, she will blossom into a deeply loyal and loving companion.April 29, 2026, 12:06 pm
