Story
Meet Cleo!Cleo is a stunning, soft-as-a-cloud beauty with soulful eyes and main-character energy. She’s incredibly sweet and loving—but she believes trust is earned, not given away like free samples at the grocery store. Once you make it into her inner circle, though, you’ll discover a deeply affectionate girl who will reward your patience with love that feels truly special.Cleo is also an excellent communicator. She knows what she likes, what she doesn’t like, and isn’t afraid to politely let you know. She can get a little overstimulated at times, so she’s looking for an adult-only home with someone who respects her boundaries and appreciates a girl who knows herself. Honestly, we love a confident queen.Miss Cleo would prefer to be your one and only—no other pets, no tiny humans, just her ruling her kingdom as she deserves. She has also been secretly working on her escape artistry (she believes doors are more of a suggestion than a rule), so she’ll need a home that can keep up with her cleverness. What Cleo truly needs is someone patient, kind, and willing to invest the time to win her heart. And while she may make you work for it at first, once you’re in, you’re in. You’ll have the honor of loving one of the most beautiful, sensitive, and rewarding companions out there. If you’re ready to earn the trust of a gorgeous, intelligent, slightly dramatic, and deeply lovable girl, Miss Cleo is ready to consider your application.

Story
Meet Margo! Margo is an incredibly sweet girl who is sure to steal your heart. She has a gentle, loving personality and the kind of charm that makes everyone who meets her fall for her. In her foster home, Margo shared space with a calm, neutral dog and handled it like a champ—she was a little cautious at first but settled in and comfortably coexisted, happily lounging nearby and going about her day.More than anything, Margo is just a truly wonderful cat with a sweet nature. Her foster says that if they were looking for another cat, Margo would never have left their home! She’s ready to bring that same warmth and sweetness to her forever family.

Story
Meet Kenny!  I am a tough guy and a timid guy both rolled into one cat.  I am the result of my mom getting out of the house through a window and the neighborhood toms taking advantage.  She was a purebred and as a result, she was surrendered to PAWS when her owner confirmed she was pregnant (with half breeds).  I am very warry of new people and have a tendency to hide when anyone is looking for me.  I will get along with other cats as long as they don't let me boss them around (I am a rather stout guy).  I love to eat and look forward to having a home of my own with people who will care for me forever! PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.   July 9, 2025, 5:56 pm

Story
My name is Whinnie and I am one of six kittens raised in a PAWS-OK Foster home.  Our mom, Wendy, was pregnant when she was rescued by a lovely couple.  I am probably the shyest of all of us, but then again it's hard to get seen with so much action going on by my siblings.  I would prefer a quieter home with lots of attention and a lap or two to make me feel safe.
