Story
Hello my name is Gracie. I am a miniature rabbit with a big personality. I need a home where I can have supervised time to jump and run and explore, but I am an escape artist so I need an enclosed area to be my own. I like people and small children when they are supervised but I need an adult to be my main care giver. I am cuddly, enjoy being picked up and snuggled. I have had 2 litters of bunnies in my young life, I'll be one year old in June, but am now spayed so that life is behind me! I am not a gift, but a long term committment and come with an adoption fee of $200 to help my rescue group pay for my surgery and checkup. Please contact info@oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com if you would like to be my forever home! My friend Pippin will also be available for adoption.

Story
Hello my name is Pipkin. I am most likely a Dutch rabbit. I am around 2 years old and as big as I'll ever get. I am friendly and like to be pet but I don't like being picked up. I probably wouldn't be good for a family with little children, but good for older kids who can respect my space. I do need an adult to be my main caretaker. I like space to hop around everyday and don't try to escape playpens. Most of the time I use the litter box, but sometimes accidents happen so I need a family with time and patience. I am healthy and have been neutered. My 'girlfriend' Gracie is also available for adoption. I am not a gift, but a long term committment and come with an adoption fee of $200 to help my rescue group pay for my surgery and checkup. Please contact info@oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com if you would like to be my forever home!

Story
This sweet lady came back to us after her owners were unable to keep her. She is a very lovely kitty who enjoys being pet, will rub up against you and sit near you, but not on your lap, once she is comfortable with you. She tolerates being picked up and carried, but doesn't enjoy snuggles. She travels very well in the car and has made several road trips across Ontario. She likes catnip toys, but isn't a big fan of chasing a ball. She likes to watch visitors to her home from afar and isn't likely to visit for more than a passing head scratch. She is tolerant of children and other cats, but not dogs. She has been spayed, is up to date with her vaccines, is FIV/FelV negative and has had her flea treatment. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!

Story
This little gal and her family showed up under the deck of a rural property. Rain is 3 months old and has never had much human contact before coming into our care. She is a bit shy and takes a bit of time to warm up. She startles easily and will hide and avoid being touched. She is a sweet, playful girl who needs a quiet home and lots of snuggles. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the spay surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Story
Quinn and her sister Quartz were dumped at a rural park as kittens. It was quickly apparent that they had never had any contact with humans. It has taken some time, but she has begun to trust, but is still a little uncomfortable with having her head touched and will flinch away. She loves to play and cuddle with her sister. We don't believe she has ever been exposed to a dog or children. Quinn would love a quiet forever home with her sister, with older children and lots of time given to her to get comfortable and trust. She is FIV/FelV negative, has been flea treated and dewormed, is up to date with her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!
