While she`s affectionate and enjoys companionship, Lucy also has an independent side and appreciates having her own space when she wants it. Lucy is looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can be the center of attention. She also prefers to be the only pet in a home so she can get all of the attention. Lucy has a big personality and is very good at communicating her boundaries. She appreciates people who understand and respect her signals, as she can be a little spicy if she`s feeling overwhelmed or her limits are pushed.For the right person, Lucy will make a wonderful companion—offering affection, company, and plenty of personality. Blackie is a handsome boy .. he loves back rubs and bum rubs and will flop over for belly rubs/pets. Blackie loves his brother Milo - they have their own little language of head butts and grooming sessions. You don't find one without the other. They haven't been interested in toys since coming in to our care but we're told they have enjoyed short play sessions with a wand toy in the past. They are both very curious boys and would make someone or a family with a quieter home, a lovely pair of companions. Blackie and Milo are both FIV positive which means their immune system can be more easily compromised but have shown no signs of illness. What. A. Transformation. This gorgeous boy came into Feline Friends care a fearful, world weary guy, afraid of pretty much everything. Hissing and running away from people were his go-to defense mechanism. Fast forward 6 months after being in a foster home, his foster mom now wakes in the night to find Rufus cuddled up beside her! This cat is an absolute treasure. He truly is a people person kitty, and will find any excuse to be near, around, or on you! A seeker of pets and a lover of playing with springs, Rufus is absolutely ready to be your new best friend. He would do well in a home with another welcoming cat, but because he still gets spooked by loud and sudden noises joining a family with really small children wouldn't be the best fit. Meet Milo - he's like a adorable panda bear.....currently on the plumper side (he will need to be put on a good quality weight loss plan) ! Milo is sweetheart ..he loves to be petted and rubbed and is a curious boy - checking everything out. Phe is surprisingly athletic and can jump into a lap or onto a piece of furniture etc. with little trouble. Milo is totally bonded with his handsome brother Blackie. They are inseparable. Where one walks the other follows! They curl up together and rest their heads on each other and have their own little language that includes head butts and grooming sessions. They have each other's backs! Milo and Blackie are FIV positive which means their immune systems are lower and would be more easily compromised than other cats. We know there is a home out there with someone who will appreciate their bond and celebrate it with them!! Sparky is a sweet boy .. shy when something is new but when comfy he loves to be rubbed on his back end with light pats. He loves playtime either with the automated floor toy or when someone plays with him with a wand toy. Sparky will need a quiet home/family with no young children. A family that will take time to let him get to know them so he starts to trust his new home/surroundings/people. Being older and having never lived without his siblings it would be nice if he could be adopted with his brother Freddy who is an orange tabby and with a similar personality to Sparky (shy until he knows you). We feel that when these two boys find their permanent homes and are given an opportunity to adjust, they will change from shy cats to lap cats. If you can open your heart to these boys and will work with one of our TLC volunteers to help make the transition smooth, we would love to hear from you.
