I adopted Lizzy at an adoption center because I needed a companion to help me through some tough moments in my life. She is always been nice to me and a calm yet playful kitty. She is now 5 years old in 2026 and I am going off to college this year so i would love for Lizzy to find a new loving and caring home to continue taking care of her.

In August 2024, she quite literally showed up on my doorstep out of nowhere. I had just gotten home from walking my dogs, and there she was. I gave her a few treats, and she stayed outside my door for over an hour and a half like she had already chosen me. I took her into my garage with the intention of bringing her to a rescue that Monday, but after posting about her, I found out she was a known cat in the area and had been cared for and vaccinated. I decided to take her in and give her a safe home. Since then, she has been nothing but the sweetest, most affectionate cat. She loves attention, will flop over for belly rubs, and is incredibly friendly with everyone she meets. She has never shown any aggression and truly just wants love. Unfortunately, despite multiple slow introductions over the past year and a half, she and my other cat do not get along. It’s become a stressful environment for both of them, and I know she would thrive in a home where she can be the center.
