Meet Barney the bunny. While Barney isnt actually a bunny ( shh dot tell her!) we have made her an honorary team bunny member. Barney has made it part of her daily routine to escape from our cat room and hang out in the rabbit room where she spends her afternoon rolling and lounging on the rugs. Barney also enjoys batting around toy mice and catching her string toys. Barney has quickly wiggled her way in to the volunteers hearts with her quirkiness and sassy personality. There is something about her that makes us smile and she is probably the cat with the most daily photo shares amongst our cat volunteers. Barney affection is on her terms. When she wants to cuddle she with jump on your lap and enjoy some head pats. If she doesnt want attention a pat on the hand you will get. She especially loves to wind in between your feet. Barney would do ideal in a home with no other cats; and in an adult only home. She is tidy and clean in her litter box. Barney was found abandoned so we unfortunately dont know much about her past. We estimated her in her older adult to early seniors years. She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv and microchipped. She also has had a dental and has had most of her teeth removed ( but she still requests a hard food only diet as she dislikes canned food)

Meet sweet Rosie 💕 Rosie is an absolute doll who is quickly becoming a volunteer favorite. She is so incredibly gentle and sweet. She looks at you with her great big eyes and give a tiny little meow for attention. Once volunteers start petting her they have a very hard time leaving as she guilts you again with those great big eyes. Rosie came to our shelter as a stray in very rough condition. She was incredibly matted, and had ear, skin, and urinary infections. We aren’t sure if her condition was from living outside or poor care while inside a home. Rosie was recently treated for a bladder stone and will need to stay on a veterinary prescription diet to ward off any further complications. Rosie does also other medical conditions. She has severe mobility difficulties resulting in lack of being able to move long distances. Rosie would need a home that can provide her with a small area of living space with all her necessities within her reach. Due to difficulty getting into a litter box Rosie is pee pad trained. Rosie also has diminished vision. We believe Rosie to be a munchkin mix as she has very short widdle legs Rosie needs a nice quiet home where she can enjoy an amazing loving home she so deserves. Rosie is estimated in her senior years and has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for felv/fiv, and microchipped. Amelia 💕🖤🤍 Teeny tiny little Amelia is sweetness wrapped in a petite little package. She’s a quiet girl who may seem reserved at first, but once your hand reaches out to pet her, her purrs begin almost instantly. When she’s feeling safe, she loves to dramatically flop onto her back and enjoys belly rubs and snuggles. Amelia is looking for a calm and patient home that will allow her the time and space she needs to gain confidence at her own pace. We can predict Amelia bonding very deeply with her new family. Amelia was found huddled on a back porch, cold and frightened, so scared that she didn’t move from the spot where she was discovered. Now that she’s safe, Amelia is slowly learning that kindness and comfort are here to stay. Amelia is estimated around 10 months of age. She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for felv/fiv and is microchipped. Echo is a sweet mostly black (he has a little white on his chest and belly) medium hair boy who likes chilling out in your arms a little bit until his wiggle butt gets excited seeing his Foster friends playing ... then off he goes. He loves bouncing around a toy mouse or ball. He also loves cat trees and looking out windows or playing with the ball tower. He also loves playing wand toy and red dot with you. He often can be found relaxing on the self heating mat. All kittens reside in foster homes and are not kept at the actual shelter. They have been spay/neutered, microchipped, wormed, FeLV tested, and have had at least their first distemper vaccine depending on age. The adopter is responsible for all remaining vaccines. Potential adopters will need to complete an application and provide proof of vet care/vaccinations and spay/neuter for other animals living in the home.
