We post our available pets across the east coast and Canada and welcome applications from anywhere on the understanding that approved families must be prepared to travel  to the rescue in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. We Will Be Actively Looking to Adopt Kittens in Pairs Health & Background Estimated date of birth: 6 April 2026 ✅ SPAYED ✅  Core vaccines (Nobivac Feline 1-HCP) up to date - too young for Rabies ✅ Monthly preventatives ✅ Microchipped with 24PetWatch - registered with Free Pet Chip Registry. ⚖️ Weight approx. 2-3 pounds Why We Will Be Actively Looking to Adopt Kittens in Pairs We will be actively looking to place kittens in pairs whenever possible, as animal behavior experts and feline welfare organizations consistently recognize that kittens develop better socially, emotionally, and behaviorally when they grow up with a feline companion of a similar age. Benefits of adopting two kittens together: Built-in playmate: Kittens have endless energy. A companion provides a healthy outlet for wrestling, chasing, and play, helping to redirect natural hunting instincts and play aggression away from people, furniture, and household items. Teaches bite inhibition and boundaries: Through play and wrestling, kittens learn how to control the force of their bites and scratches. When one kitten plays too rough, the other responds immediately, teaching important social limits that humans cannot easily replicate. Faster learning and social development: Kittens learn by watching each other. They often develop appropriate grooming habits, litter box skills, confidence, and social behaviors more quickly when raised with a companion. Reduces loneliness and stress: Kittens thrive on interaction and stimulation. Having a bonded companion provides comfort, companionship, and security, especially when family members are at work, school, or away from home. Helps prevent boredom and destructive behavior: Two kittens are far more likely to keep each other entertained, reducing the chances of unwanted behaviors that can result from boredom, frustration, or excess energy. Provides lifelong companionship: Many kittens form strong bonds with their feline companions, giving them a source of friendship, comfort, and enrichment throughout their lives. While every kitten and family situation is unique, adopting a pair often creates a happier, healthier, and better-adjusted outcome for both the kittens and their adopters.  Our adoption fee's are $250 per kitten or $400 for two. Story
Meet Nala, a sweet girl and her five kittens were found by a good Samaritan and turned over to Critter Cavalry to foster and find great homes.  Life on the streets can be hard for a cat, especially a first time mother with five kittens.  She is a trooper and kept them safe, and healthy even after weaning them. The evidence of her struggles shows in a small scar on her nose.  Nala may have been living on the street but that did not affect her sweet disposition.  She definitely enjoys a good scratch behind the ear and is friendly with all humans she has been in contact with.  She is approximately 8-9 months old and currently weighs 7 pounds which is only 3 pounds more than her kittens.  She is learning all about 'the good life' and appreciating the fact that the food is coming regularly.   She is not quite a cuddler but has only been off the streets for a couple weeks.  Given time, she may grow to love the lap.  Nala is a beautiful cat with unusual markings and can we talk about those eyes!!!!  She has not been exposed to adult cats or dogs while in foster care but should adjust if given time. If you were interested in this beauty please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.   Please let us know where you live, city and state. We transport outside of Tennessee as well as adopting within our state where our fosters are being cared for Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Omaire is now 11 months old and is truly a handsome boy. He loves to play but also enjoys leisurely lounging on cat trees. However, he hasn’t always had it easy. Omaire, along with his mom Anise and his siblings, was rescued from a dangerous environment where they lived on the streets. Omaire loves to play wrestle with his mom Anise and the other foster kitties in the home. Some of his favorite toys include toy mice, balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and, of course, the laser pointer. He is spoiled and enjoys all the kitty treats, push-up treats, brushing, and catnip that our foster provides. Omaire is truly a love bug and is not shy at all. He hopes to find a forever home where he can stay safe indoors and receive all the pampering and luxury he deserves. Omaire would love to be adopted with his mom or have another kitty to play with. He is too cute and warms up quickly with food, playtime, and lots of pets and affection.  Omaire is fully vaccinated, FIV and FELV negative, and neutered.  He is are ready to start his journey in life with his forever family.   To be considered for Omaire's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Omaire is in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)  March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
