Story

Mochi is a stunningly handsome boy with a sweet personality to match. He's all about getting your attention and loves to spend time with his people. Playtime is something Mochi looks forward to, especially the laser light and wand toys. He is a well rounded kitty who will adjust quickly and thrive in any household. He gets along with the other kitties in his foster home and lived with a dog in his previous home. His foster mom says he is the sweetest boy. Mochi was surrendered last November when he needed emergency surgery to treat a severe urinary blockage. Without surgery, Mochi would have died. We knew he was a special guy and deserved a chance. It took some time for him to recover and work out a diet that will prevent any further urinary issues and we can say now that Mochi is more than ready to meet his new family! While we consider Mochi "special needs" this is only because he needs to have prescription diet for the rest of his life. While Mochi gets along well with other cats and dogs, he will need to have special consideration for feeding to be sure he stays on his diet. Story

Nikko is an exceptionally handsome tabby boy with a big personality. He is a very friendly kitty who enjoys spending time with his people and seems to like dogs. Nikko thrives on being petted and is fine with being held. As with most kitties he enjoys playtime. Foil balls, catnip toys and the turbo scratcher are a few of his favorites. Nikko is a social boy who adjusts quickly to new people and places. Nikko tends to be a bit bossy with the other cats especially around meal time and lets them know by swatting at them. We feel he would be happiest as an only cat or with one other cat who will respect his space. We also feel he will do well with dogs with proper introduction. Nikko cannot wait to have a family to call his own! Nikko is about 2 years old, ( as of 3/1/25), neutered, up to date on vaccinations, negative for Felv and positive FIV.

This handsome tuxedo boy is Hero. Hero is a friendly guy who loves attention. He can be a little shy until he gets to know you, but once he feels comfortable he will gladly accept all the pets you want to give him He is fine with being held but only for short periods of time. Hero is not a lap cat but a sit next you cat. He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home and enjoys playing chase with them. Toys are just as much fun. Catnip toys, foil balls, and wand toys are just a few of his favorites. Hero is about 10 months old ( as of 3/1/ 25), neutered, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV. This gorgeous floof ball is Klaudia. She is on the shy side to start but warms up quickly. Her fur has a very unique coloring and is super soft. Klaudia enjoys pets and is fine with being held. She gets along well with the other kitties at her foster and enjoys playing and lounging in the sun with them. Klaudia would love to get adopted with her sister Kyla or a friend from her foster home. Story

Little Forest was found in the Poconos at one of our volunteers cabins. She was with her mom and 3 siblings. While her foster mom was transferring Forest out of the trap into a cage her mom strategically moved her 3 siblings. Despite looking for weeks, her foster mom could not find her mom or the other kittens . Beautiful Forest warmed up quickly to indoor life. She is a bit shy to start but does enjoy being petted and is fine with being held for short periods of time once she trust you. Playtime is her favorite activities. Foil balls, spring toys and catnip mice are a few of her favorites. Forest gets along with the other kitties and enjoys playing with them. She would love to get adopted with a friend from her foster home or have a friendly resident cat to show her the ropes. Story

Barnaby is a very handsome tabby boy. He was found outside by a nice lady who took him in and contacted our rescue for help. He was too sweet to be living outside. Barnaby is a friendly guy who adjusts quickly to new things. He enjoys being petted and tolerates being held. Barnaby is a talker at times to tell you about his day. He is intimidated around the number of cats in his foster home, but will be fine with one or two other friendly cats or as an only cat. Barnaby has tested positive for FIV. This is not Feline Leukemia, which he tested negative for. Because he has a very friendly disposition and is easy to get along with, Barnaby does not have to be an only cat. FIV is transmitted by deep bite wounds from an infected cat and is prevalent among intact male cats who are fighting for territory and mates. FIV has an unfair stigma even within the vet & cat rescue community, but the majority of FIV+ cats live long, healthy lives. We have many current resources on FIV which we'd be happy to refer you to along with many personal experiences with FIV+ cats. We are hopeful that someone will have an open mind (or is already well informed about FIV!) and come to meet Barnaby. He won't let you down! Barnaby is about 1.5 years old( as of 5/15/25), neutered, up to date on vaccinations, negative for Felv but he is positive for FIV. Don't let that scare you though, he can live a normal long life.
