Story
Ozzy is 10 years old, born on May 1, 2015. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He’s a character, a sweet boy, on his own terms. He’s also chatty and prone to the zoomies. We feed him Hills Science Diet urinary hairball control wet and dry food as recommend by the vet due to urinary issues when he was young. We bought a new house 6 months ago and he has not adjusted to the change. He’s become aggressive with our other 4 cats with whom he used to get along. We have tried Feliway, Comfort Zone, and TopSum pheromone diffusers from the time we moved to our new home, and they have not been effective. Our hearts are broken that this is our final resort. We love Ozzy but we think he would be happier in a home on his own, without other pets.

Story
Looking to rehome Melody, she is a 4 year old sweet and loving cat. She loves cuddles and talking to you when she wants attention. She is up to date on all her shots. She unfortunately does need someone who has the time to work with her on proper litter training. We have moved to a location that she can’t be an indoor/outdoor cat and needs someone who has the time to properly train her or plenty of outside space for her to roam. She really is so sweet and gets along with dogs, other cats, and kids. She loves attention and will be sure to add love to your home 😊

Story
Buttercup was one of five kittens born in the wild. When we trapped her at four months old, she was initially feral but in the five weeks we have had her, she has come a long way. She greets us at the door, likes to be petted and she even climbs in bed to play with our toes. Right now, she does not like to be picked up. That could change with time. Buttercup needs someone who will be patient with her as she is still learning to trust people. She loves to play and would do well in a home with another young cat. We would keep her but we already have three. She is five months old and was recently spayed/shots/tested/wormed.

Story
Birthday: October 19, 2018 Special kitties and the people who love them deserve special treatment. That’s why Laurel has a watercolor portrait which will be given as our gift to the special person who adopts her. Laurel is sitting up high on her laurels!  This one-of-a-kind girl loves to tell you about her day and a story or two!  She's always striving to find new things to investigate just so she can tell you about it!  Always yearning for knowledge, this intelligent little lady will always wonder what's going on in the world!  Through her adventures, she's discovered the wonders of ping pong balls!  You can throw one around the house, and she will run after it like she was a cop chasing a jailbreaker!  She's climbing to the high peaks in her foster home and plays like she's a young kitten! Laurel will strike up a conversation with anyone!  It can be a person or another animal!  She doesn't mind calm, respectful puppy dogs; she also respects smaller animals, including rabbits and guinea pigs!  Initially, we thought that whenever she looked at the window and saw birds, she would talk to them as if they were buddies.  Little did we know that she was actually telling them off!  We guess she isn't much of a bird lover!  Though she is a social butterfly, Laurel wishes that her new home doesn't have any young children.  Plus, she wants to be the only cat in her household!  She's become a little "Regina" in her feline social circle, and we don't want any bullying to happen! Laurel is an incredibly active kitty!  It's hard to believe that this girl has diabetes!  She's currently under a special diet and given insulin twice a day to manage it!  If we weren't the ones administering it, we'd wouldn't have ever guessed!  We are starting to think she's too sweet for her own good!  Sure, she has an active side, but she also has a loving side!  She'll follow you around the house and stay close by your side.  She can't stand the thought of you being lonely!  In fact, she'd sit on your lap all day if you let her! Laurel's adoption donation is $50 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. Story
Birthday: August 7, 2014 Meet Nieve (name meaning "snow" in Spanish). She is an all-white kitty with a heart as pure and beautiful as a snowflake! This sweet lady has had a rough life. After years living outside and being fed by some neighbors in Harrisburg, she was brought indoors by an elderly gentleman, who grew particularly fond of her. After a few months, she developed a medical condition and he no longer wanted to care for her so he was going to put her back outside. LCCR brought her into the rescue and successfully treated the condition. Now this lady is ready for another chance at a happy life in a safe and loving forever home! While she may start out a little shy, give her a little time and she’ll “snowball” into your best friend, offering purrs and snuggles that will melt your heart. As a senior kitty, she is laid-back, but still enjoys playtime, hair brushings, and is a sucker for kitty treats! Nieve's adoption donation is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. If you would like more information on Nieve, please contact Lynn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. Story
Birthday: April 25, 2021 Life in a dairy barn wasn't the easiest for Blue Bell.  She and two momma cats were spending their time nursing and caring for their kittens. Cows would accidentally step on baby kittens, and it just wasn't a way for a kitty to live their life. Thankfully, rescuers came to the barn to rehome the feline families to more safer environments. Blue Bell and her kittens were brought to LCCR, where the mama just finished nursing her litter.  Now that they are grown and ready to find homes, Blue Bell is hoping to do the same! She is as sweet as she looks! We don't know if its her maternal nature or being made with 100% pure sugar, but Blue Bell has earned her spot in the ranks of "Most Affectionate Kitty!" She doesn't mind other cats as long as they are laid back around her. She's been through a lot before coming to the rescue, and she deserves to be in a relaxed home.  She's an excellent biscuit maker and offers herself for any pettings you feel like giving her! The only thing she really wants is a home that will shower her with nothing but attention! Blue Bell's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.  If you would like more information on Blue Bell, please contact Denette at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.
