Meet Sussie! He came to us with his brother when someone rescued them from the outdoors at 8 weeks old. He is still working on his social skills with people but doing so great! Sussie loves to cuddle and greets you with purrs. When playing he loves ball tracks, spends time hanging out in the cat tree, napping in the sun. He is slow to warm up to new cat friends but has done well in settling in once he is comfortable.

Love Bug Love Bug is a tiny 4 month old kitten who was found as a stray in Baltimore. He is as sweet as they come and has fully earned his name! He loves to be held, snuggled and loves to give kisses. He will even start to talk to you if you aren't paying enough attention to him! It is unknown whether he had an old injury or whether he was born with a birth defect but his toes on his front right leg are misshapen. He has had xrays and has been evaluated by an orthopedic specialist and she has determined that although his joints are stiff, they are functional and need no additional treatment. His adopter should understand that he sometimes does have a bit of a different walk and his right front paw does look a little different from his left. Although he can get himself onto a bed or a sofa, you don't have to worry about him being a counter surfer! Love Bug has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines and is ready for a new home! Dina is a gorgeous and sweet snowshoe cat who is brought to a New York shelter by animal control. She was transferred to Journeys Cat Rescue because she had severe dental stomatitis and needed a rescue to help provide the surgery to have all of her teeth removed. She has now had surgery and is ready to be adopted! Dina is a very affectionate girl! She is chatty, loves attention, and loves to be pet! We are estimating that she is between four and seven years old. Please contact us for an application. Story

Binks was hand raised after being found in a parking lot at approximately two weeks of age. She is now almost five years old. Binks can be very sweet, but has developed some behavior issues; there is a lot of stress in the house: we are dealing with a medical issue and are moving shortly which I believe has caused Binks to feels abandoned and stressed. She is not always using her litter box and has become standoffish and "grumpy" at times. Binks needs a loving home with someone who can devote time and attention to her to lessen her stress and help retrain her. Unfortunately, with the move, doctor appointments and treatments, we are not able to give that to her at this time. She was raised with two other cats, but never really interacted with them much. I firmly believe that with loving attention, Binks can overcome her insecurities and behavior issues and be a loving companion.
