Story

This is Brook, he's a 6 year old, neutered and vaccinated, grey male cat. Brook is a very loving boy, some might call him a 'velcro' cat, as he is very clingy. He loves being around humans of all ages, and tolerates a LOT. You can hold him, touch his paws/tail/face without him biting or scratching. He is very high energy and loves play time, sometimes it feels like he never gets tired! He was raised around a fairly young child, so he is very tolerant of child antics like tail pulling, grabbing, etc. He might kick to get away, but he doesn't intentionally harm anyone. The reason we are rehoming is because he cannot be in a home with other cats. We aren't sure why, but he always gets too rough with other cats and they end up fighting. Our solution is to keep him away from our other cats, however, he is not super happy being locked away. I just know he would thrive as the only cat in the house. I have plenty of pictures and videos of him if you are interested!

They have been in foster getting healthy and more social and doing so well! Per her foster: “She is a 3-4 month old kitten who never stops purring! She purrs anytime not actively playing or sleeping. She is a little shy to start, but loves ribbon toys and tunnels. She would do great with other pets after slow introductions.” She is spayed, FIV/Felv negative, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Four years later he was returned to us because he was being bullied by the other cats in the home. Per his foster: “ Onyx is a very shy, sensitive boy who will need a patient home willing to give him time to feel safe. He warms up slowly, but with consistency, kindness, and a few Temptations treats, he truly blossoms. Once he trusts you, Onyx is incredibly sweet. He loves being petted, makes the cutest muffins (including “air muffins”), and will eventually curl up on your lap and even allow you to pick him up. Onyx would do best in a quiet home (loud noises scare him, but he’s getting used to them) and would likely enjoy the company of another calm, laid-back adult cat who likes companionship but also respects personal space. He tolerates brushing, enjoys gentle affection, and will reward your patience with deep, loyal love. *buff longhair *Born end of April/early May 2019 -Homer was originally adopted from us as a few month old kitten. He came in with a group of kittens who were super shy and unsocialized but he was the first to blossom and come out of his shell! He was adopted and in a home for 6 years but was recently returned after his family got a divorce and no one could keep him. :(. Homer is the sweetest, cuddliest big boy and is ready to find a forever home now! He loves petting and affection and purrs like crazy for pets. He can be shy at first and definitely will need a quiet room in his new home to settle in and get used to everything! He loved my 10 year old son so I think he would do well in a family, and had previously lived with other cats. He’d be fine with other animals with slow introductions. He is a bit overweight but we did a full blood panel and urine check on him and he has no medical issues. He needs an adopter who will be able to regularly groom him to keep him from matting. He is neutered, negative for Felv/FIV, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea prevention.
