Story
Mitzi is a sweet senior cat estimated to be 14 years old. She is blind in one eye due to an unknown circumstance that occurred in her younger years. Her eyesight in the other eye is fine. Due to her age she is also hard of hearing. She enjoys a low key life and actually was a wonderful companion for my father in law who recently passed away. She is in good health and requires no special owner care or vet care. He had acquired her as a stray when she was a kitten. She has always been an only pet so due to her age and her being an only pet for her entire life, we’re seeking a home where she would be the only pet and an indoor pet only. She enjoys sitting on the couch being pet and enjoys interaction with people. She is litter trained. We will provide a litter box and some food to her adopter as well. We are only seeking adopters that are willing to commit to her for the remainder of her years. She has lost her owner and we want her to go to a good home where she will be loved.

Story
*If interested in adopting, please READ and follow instructions below. If she is not marked pending, she is still available, please just submit an application** *Female cat *brown/black tabby *Approximately 1 1/2 years old as of February 2024 -Wendy and Peter came to us as an owner surrender, where they were living in a not very good situation. We were supposed to take three cats from the home as they were threatening to dump them outside, but before we could get them into foster, one of the cats was killed by the family dog :(. We were so glad to get these two but so sad one had been lost. Per her foster: “Wendy, is a 1.5 year old female who loves pets and quiet. She is great with other cats after slow introductions. She is shy at first, but with a little time will beg for pets.” She will do best at first kept in a smaller room, and then slowly given more space as she gets used to her new people! Older kids or adults are best for her as she can be scared at first. She is spayed, FIV/Felv negative, rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 which includes all the vetting above.

Story
*If interested in adopting, please READ and follow instructions below. If she is not marked pending, she is still available, please just submit an application** *Female cat *orange/white tabby *Approximately 2 years old as of April 2024 -Dolly came to us after she was found dumped outside a local store. When inquiring with the staff they said she has been there and was not wanted. When we got her home we found a microchip, so we traced it. As we pieced together the information from that and from the staff at the store, we came to realized that this poor girl had been dumped over and over again through no fault of her own, never finding a family who actually wanted to keep her and to keep her safe. We sent her to one of our foster homes and she is literally the perfect baby girl. She LOVES people, loves attention, and all she wants to do is make muffins and purr. Even at the vet! I had her overnight here and she was so happy to just have a warm place to stay with comfy places, a full belly, and all the love. She is just the best baby and would do well in any sort of family. She should do well with other cats with slow introductions. She didn’t interact with any here but when she could hear them outside of the door she had no reaction. She has done well with all the children she has interacted with.

*If interested in adopting, please READ and follow instructions below. If she is not marked pending, she is still available, please just submit an application** *female kitten *orange/white (Muffin has a spot on her face, Hominy does not) *DOB 2/22/24 -Muffin and Hominy came in from a rescue in VA after their pregnant mama was pulled from a kill shelter. The kittens grew up in foster down south and when they were big enough they came up to us to find their forever families! Per her foster: “She's friendly, social, curious, and playful. Doesn't mind being picked up and is inquisitive to new environments. She doesn't mind other cats. Does well with kids.” Priority will be given to someone that wants to adopt both, but it is not required. She is spayed, FIV/Felv negative, FVRCP vaccinated (too young for rabies, so adopter would need to follow up with their vet for that and further boosters), microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $100 which includes all the vetting above.

Loves to talk and chatter. Is nervous to new situations and loves to puff up but is friendly. Likes her sister but is not a fan of other cats. Would need slower introduction to another kitty. Does well with kids.” Priority will be given to someone that wants to adopt both, but it is not required.
